Distinction Between VIP and EXE
Seen a lot of talk about "...that's more EXE style than VIP...".
Can anyone on here outline the distinction? Is EXE even a real (recognizable) style? Just looking to see what some of the top guys on here think about EXE compared to VIP.
If good answers pop up maybe this can get stickied/added to "VIP 101" stuff to help new people make the distinction.

It's actually something that was more distinctive for a short time while the style was evolving, but has now again kind of mish-mashed together yet again..at least in my eyes.

the name came around thanks to a magazine in japan called Af/EXE, which was full of luxury sedans with japanese rims in normal offsets and a 1-2" drop. Stuff that wouldn't even get a glance at a vIp event but just looks damn clean and classy. The mag also pushes the luxury lifestyle...
it was never actually defined as a style per se but at the time it seemed like a good label for the guys that weren't after a slammed ride or flush rims; those who just wanted to put some rims on their lexus.
it is just a label though, invented on these forums... wouldn't be too concerned with it!
