Just scored a '97 I30.....
Starting to make the conversion to Cefiro. :) Looking to start small to scratch my mod itch. Wondering if these are legit JDM pieces or just aftermarked LED door sills.
I haven't found much on here in terms of the Cefiro. Some, but not much lol.
Anyone know if the Cefiro grill will fit with the I30 hood?

First thing is to shop around for suspension, then do the audio over the winter and then come spring, look for wheels. But before even that can begin it needs new axles, LCA, pads and rotors. Hopefully I can do it all at once seeing how I have to pull the shocks out anyway.

+1 on MAXIMA.org being a good source for information. your car and 4th gen maximas share a lot of similarities.
as for suspension, you probably better off going with some tein's or even d2's. from what i've read and heard, they ride smooth and offer a good drop. though, you could go all baller and get some JIC's. for the brakes if you wanna just wanna do OEM-type replacements, the brembo rotors are good.

Just go straight for the JIC FLT-TAR VIP, trust me ;)
Hint: I rock a 4th gen maxima with fore mentioned suspension.

i wouldn't go with springs only because you'll regret not having the ability to adjust them whenever you like. since you said you liked my ride height i'm going to post up some pics...so i don't mean to hi-jack your thread.

As much as I would like to throw on some coilovers, I think I will just have to do a spring/strut combo. Not sure if I can justify dropping the loot on coilovers for the I30 when my G35x needs them first :)
