what tyre suggestions do you have

ok so my new wheels will be 19x8.5+12 9.5+12 (low disc front and s-low in the rear).... my old wheels were 18x9+24 10+24 with 225/35 and 235/40
so in theory the adge of the rim should be an the same place as the old wheels. so what tyre sizes should i run to prohibit rubbing issues?

Re: what tyre suggestions do you have

215/40s on the rear for a decent stretch IMO
Do they make 205/40s? if so that would work on the front, but probably not so stretched. I had 215/40s on my 18x9s for about 30 seconds before i asked them to replace with something smaller (not enough stretch). They didnt have anything smaller in 40 profile so i went with 215/35. That stretched nicely
(this is with reference to Kumho Ecsta tyres, not sure about other brands)

For some reason can't see the first picture. Is the first picture a shot of your "new" wheels?

Re: what tyre suggestions do you have

I would suggest the 215/35's all around but the fronts would look mildly stretched vs. a super nice stretch on the rear.

If you want a nice uniformed stretched tires i would go with:

215/35 and 225/35 Falken and dunlops are the ones that i've used and they both stretched nicely. (Im on FK452's right now)

Re: what tyre suggestions do you have

I second Herbs suggestion for 215/35/19 and 225/35/19.

The only thing I would be concerned about is the diameter on the front.   Would this be too small and would they require you needing to lower the front more?  I know Van talked about in his estima build thread that these vans have a lot of issues when you go too low.   You may want to discuss diameter with OneTon.

I think your front tires are mounted the wrong direction.

Re: what tyre suggestions do you have

I think you should go with a slightly chunkier tire...215/35 combo will be so thin that you will probably ruin the wheels on seattle streets. Try going with 215/40 or even 45 front and 235/35 or 40 rear. You've seen my FK452s allready, and they stretched fairly nicely. Are the wheels here yet?

Re: what tyre suggestions do you have

My suggestion:

Fronts: 215/35/19
Rears: 225/35/19

Thats my suggestion, but of course you would have to be more careful driving that around Seattle.

OR

Fronts: 225/35/19
Rears: 235/35/19

I dont know much about wheels and stuff yet, but im learning :)
