Air susp Audi
Ok, I have looked at what I believe are all the brands of air suspension, mostly with no luck.... I am trying to find a full, bolt on kit, for a 01 Audi S4 w/quattro. So far I think AutoLoc is the only brand that sells a kit for my car, but there is no comment as to if its bolt on, or if I need to custom fabricate parts. Comes with all the plug-and-play lines, a compressor, a tank, and all the wiring and a digital switch. Also, considering the car weighs 3800lbs, should I get 2 compressors or would one work fine? Not looking to hop or anything, just a slow raise and lower, but not too slow.
For most of your cars, was there custom fabrication or all bolt on? I would really like to bag the car before I bought new wheels/tires so I can freak out my friends when I drop the stock looking S4 to the ground!

Ill definatly take a look into it and email him tomorrow. But just as well, still wondering about the bags. I got plenty of questions if anyone is willing to answer. Going from OEM to something completely different is very new to me, I haven't even run coil overs before!

No, not a member on there. Member on S4forum though, but I haven't posted up yet, haven't seen very many....err...any at all S4s on bags, figured the guys who do it all the time would know.

How much are you trying to spend? I would look into Bagyard air struts for front and rear, then AccuAir complete air management system...which comes with everything you would need to install it. AccuAir setup is digital, you can have 3 presets for height and an option to slam it all the way or raise it up all the way. The whole setup will cost you a good amount, but will be top quality.
Another option would be to piece together your own kit...it's not that hard. If you are on Vortex, contact guy named Santi, he's in FL and can piece together a kit for you.

we built the first b5 s4 on air in the us with a set of custom rear air struts. that's the only difficult part of the install, the rest is the same as a fwd a4 chassis. currently there's only 3 cars running the rear struts we developed, because well, theyre rather expensive.
santi can do your install, but you would need to source the struts from bagyard or mason-tech.
contact andrew @ openroadtuning for the bagyards, theyre running a GB on the bomber series struts, or you could have them build you a set of the signature series custom jobbies

The bomber series struts do look really nice. Almost wish I would have waited and got these for my car. Also I think Santi has ability to get MasonTech stuff now, so you might be able to get a complete system through him. His prices are really reasonable and he is fast with replies.

theres tons of audis on bags. youre best bet would be some custom or UAS bag struts...

on a side note, i dont mean to thread jack but i got a 2006 audi a3, ive done some reading that its pretty much the sae platform as a mk5 golf/jetta. so i can use any of the mk5 suspension parts right? just need to confirm...

Do you have a FWD 2.0T version or 3.2 Quattro? If it's FWD, then it's the same. If it's Quattro, then the rear will be different. If in doubt, go onto H&Rs website and compare part numbers between two cars.
One nice thing about A3s is that they have more clearance for wider wheels. Lucky...

Do you have a FWD 2.0T version or 3.2 Quattro? If it's FWD, then it's the same. If it's Quattro, then the rear will be different. If in doubt, go onto H&Rs website and compare part numbers between two cars.
One nice thing about A3s is that they have more clearance for wider wheels. Lucky...

i do know of a set of custom ones off one of the mason-tech test cars that will be sale shortly. they arent m-t's, but a set we built for a friend using air struts with machined offset plates

Im not currently on that website, but I am interested in parting together a kit. I guess it seems thats really the only way I will be able to go. Who should I contact for a full list of parts/components and companys to purchase them from?
