WBQ 07 pre PresiBent pix

Due to my other thread getting hijacked, I felt I had to make it up some how while helping to keep this place a little more active. Here are some old pic's of my car summer of 07 I found from an old photoshoot i took in Queens NY. This wave can't be stopped because these pics were taken with my camera OWWWW :biggthumpup:

And as a bonus, here is one of my builds that I never posted on VSC. My tail light conversion, rear fender radius and inner fender tub, and shaved trunk with added body line work project from Winter 07
 
The 05-06 F50 Q45 (AKA after MC) tails are LED. They are also shaped differently and shorter in size. You suppost to swap out the entire trunk and bumper. I am really anal about certain things. The after MC trunk is shorter and less rounded. It also has inner trunk lights and 2 chrome trunk bars that are real small. I was not a fan so I decided to do it my way.

^Thats stock. I am not a huge fan. No disrespect to anyone with that trunk 
 
 
Til this day, its the only conversion done this way using the 02-04 trunk in the world. Maybe because no one likes it or it is not worth the hassle for the minimal difference in looks if you were to just swap the trunk and bumper :shrug: To me, real VIP is all about the little details that help bring together a car to make it look as if it could of came that way.

the drivers side is the stock tail, the pass side is the after MC side. Notice the difference in shape and how the trunk doesnt fit.

Had to make the sides of the trunk longer. Notice the crease in the middle. Thats a body line added to make the tails look OEM. The trunk is aluminum and is the reason no one really messes with it. The rivets were later reinforced with fiberglass

Molded the inner trunk piece to the metal to give a clean Euro look that I was going for

Fenders were radiused meaning the archs were cut higher. In this case, I also had them pull them, Jaguar style in preperation for the Jaguar vents I would put on later in the year.

Finished product. The exhaust cut out on the bumper was filled in too in order to flow with the theame I was going for

props for doing things your own way. i like what you did better than after MC too. looks alot cleaner.

I like it man looks really good. Its also very clean that's what Vip Style is about. Love how the car sits and also how plush the rear lights look. Thanks for posting those build pics, gives us new guys a little insight as to what we gotta do to be on top of this game thanks.

Damn you.  Thanks to these pics and Blitz's new pics I know I NEED air if I am going to continue on with my Q.   It was so sick even on stock bumpers.

The last shot in post #2 is MONEY. I love to see under construction images, that's really where all the majic happens. Also like the way you incorporated the body line off the tails onto the trunk, real subtle but deffinately a must -and went against the lamps on the trunk, totally compliments the widebody, inner taillamps would take away from that.

I remember these pics. I liked this setup a whole lot.

I remember wondering how more dope you could make it, when I first started seeing some teaser pix.  Who would've thought you were gonna go all out like that, haha.

I still talk to this day to my friends about how more crazy your car is compared to mine...  they think you are crazy
