what does a SS kit do exactly?

i'm looking at purchasing a 20MM SS kit for my UCF10 and i only know it gives me a bit more camber, otherwise i'm completely clueless on what it truly does. anyone care to chime in on its true purpose? thanks

You will get less camber. It drops your car about an inch and gives you more suspension travel without affecting camber.

i believe its main purpose is to correct bumpsteer, because once youve lowered your vehicle so much, the knuckle and lca usually are way out of whack during compression and rebound, but with these kits you will be setting the lca back to normal specs, which allows the lca to move within a tolerable range during compression and rebound.

Nope, I still have this problem. I gotta cut some holes too.

no it wont help, because the ss is just moving the lca lower, back to near oem specs, where the uca doesnt get touched at all.

i hate that banging UCA on my towers.
i need to cut them. but what to fill the hole with?

I never filled the hole in. I had megan coils, SS Kit and cut towers....

think of it as it pushes the wheels hubs 1" higher than stock.. so even though
suspension is 100% stock settings, the wheels are 1" high aka u get a 1" drop...

they use stuff like this in race cars or track cars so that you can steer correctly while having
a lowered center of gravity...

Where can you get them? i have a UCF11

just cut a metal patch, weld, grind, smooth, etch prime, color, spray can clear...prolly take about 30-45 mins to do...

lol. thats what happens when youre a car nut, everyday you just think about car crap but in depth.

I thought the same thing when I was looking into an SS kit.  But like Chrispy said, you're just going to have to cut holes. Its not something I wanted to do but its impossible to drive my car low without it knocking the UCA at even the slightest bump:sad:

ucf11 and ucf20 share the same SS kits..
you zealand of japan makes them.. sometimes
you'll find a set used here in the states.. if not,
yahoo auctions and a friend in japan is all u got..
