what's best to stretch on 19X8.5/9.5???

Specs: 19X8.5 / 9.5
 
What tires out there are good to stretch for a little poke... ran thru falken 452 but they tend to bubble a lot and nankang is hella noisy.... Nexen 3000 is fairly okay but they dont make 215/35/19s or 225/35/19s... any thoughts??

ive never had any problems with falken 452 :shrug: i think as long as you keep the proper psi, they should be fine.

that might be my last resort if i dont find any other tire brand to stretch

Nankang NS2 215 and 225. FK452s are garbage.

i have conteninial, and falkens. 
Works good. nice stretch too 225/40 on a 10.5

stretch on 8.5/9.5...is this for honda?

best on 8.5 would be 215/ or 225?

i would say im flush in the rear but i was looking to camber it a lil and poke it for the hella flush look especially the front (i need spacers 15MM ichiba V2 if anyone got some)

you dont seem to have that much camber or stretch in the rear, thats whats making if flusher. if you dropped it a little more (but you said you wont) or stretched more it may not look as flush.
 
as for stretching, i have Nexen N3000, 235/35 on 9 & 245/35 on 10. 235/35 on 9 is mild but visible, 245/35 on 10 is pretty good stretch. I'd say 8.5 maybe 225/35 for mild stretch and if you dont need a lot, and then 235/35 on 9.5.

i dont have any camber in the rear... i got rca on within specs

ant i got 225/35 as mentioned above on my 8.5 and it dont look as good as i thought it would. got myself a beater to drive around for the mean time so stretching the tires and a lil camber in the rear  with some spacers wouldnt hurt much since i wont be driving it much.. just gotta change up the rca settings..

hm yeah i guess if you need that much stretch then do it, but if you dont its better to leave it chunky so it looks flusher. thats waht i think anyway..!

235/35 on a 9.5? it stretches a little.

I'd run 215 and 225s, im running the same setup

except on 9 and 10s

why not just get wider and lower offset wheels if you want a stretch and flushness. Those sizes you're running don't even stretch. 
225mm = 8.86" and thats on an 8.5" rim :pat: 
245mm = 9.65" on 9.5" rim :yahoo_68:

I ran 225 245 and the front stretch was perfect but the rear was almost perfect fit. this was with the exact same wheel sizes as yours.
I would say only stretch as much as you need to make the car fit the wheels and no more.

P.S. these were Federal S55

On my spare/winter wheels (19x8.5/9.5) I run 215/35/19 and 235/35/19 respectively.  Works great for me...

I would just rock the nankangs... there not that noisy compared to FK's.  I've had both tires and I've never had nankangs bubble up on me.  Try a 235 nankang brand tire on your 9.5.

my point is you can't stretch a 8.5/9.5 for a lexus gs because in order to get some stretch look the tire size is 215/225. but is too small for a gs.

Hey Tom if our looking for the hella flush look , I would get some spacers and then measure how much room you have to play with , I think stretching your tires more rite now with your set up the way it is is gonna make the wheels look more sunk. I dont know your reasons but why you sticking with the ride height your currently at, if you have a beater? I say slam the car get your self some 20mm or 25mm spacers , are your fenders rolled , shaved?  what are the current offsets ? I can help you out if you wanna go for the hella flush look , but everything comes down to how high you are , cause once you lower the car more your gonna get more camber . I know the limits on your car so if you need any help just pm me :biggthumpup:

Get Nexen N3000s.  They're cheap and don't have herpes sidewalls like Falkens.  A 235 will be a baby stretch on the 9.5, you can do 225 easily as well but probably unnecessary for you.
