2000 LS400 stock tire size - 225/60/16
 
19"x9" & 19"x10" wheels & Megan coilovers
 
225/40/19 & 235/40/19 - this combo is 2% & 0.9% different from OEM regarding speedo
 
235/35/19 & 245/35/19 - this combo is 4.3% & 3.3% different from OEM regarding speedo
 
I see most run the 35 profile tire combo. Should I be concerned about the difference from OEM?
Is there a benefit regarding stretching for either combo?

I'm coming from an AWD STi where keeping within 2% of OEM diameter is crucial to keeping the differentials from blowing up. If there's no reason to be concerned about the speedo difference the fuk it.

2-5 mph difference shouldnt hurt

Depending on the brand of tires your going with, I would rock a 235/35, 245/35 setup on 9's and 10's. If you really need more stretch than go down a size to 225/35, 235/35.
