new guy from sarasota fl

love the forum, you guys have some great cars, awesome inspiration. i don't own a vip platform, but i love the style that vip has brought to everything from drift to the fitment scene. i've presently got an is300 sportcross, on apexi coils, (you lexus guys can teach me a little about ucas touching strut towers!) spacers on the stock staggered wheels(15mm f, 25mm r), trying to get a badly damaged advan model 6 fixed, to complete the look. after that maybe i'll be on to a vip platform.

Welcome, damn man, I'd keep the ISwagon and build it. I've always loved those, some mean ass mesh face wheels and on the floor, but do your thing and welcome. Soak it up man there is a lot of knowledge here to read up on, I'm sure all of your questions will be answered and if you are anything like me the questions you didn't even know you had will also be answered here, if that makes sense LOL. welcome - nice Lexo.

i don't want to get rid of the sportcross, i would like to get the wheels on before i get a second car. i need something else for the family, my wife drives this now. i want to get something else for me, maybe to drift, or more likely something big, with wide lip wheels and airbags.

the offset is 17-8 +35 with a 15mm spacer (so, +20 effective), and 17-9 +40 offset with a 25mm spacer (+15 effective), i thought they were going to fit, according to everything i read, that was aggressive, i was going to need fender pull, but thats bs. i like the way they look with spacers. i'll stretch either a 205 45, or 215 45 on the back to make the tread fit under the fender. the problem i'm having now is with the front upper control arm smacking the strut tower, i found info on this site about the youzealand ss kits, but nothing for this chassis. i going to have to cut my strut mount, i want to go lower, but the ride is retarded right now. if i could see stuff in english about how those kits work, i'd love to try to fab something myself.
