They sure did. You remember the LS460. That was brought over as well. If you're in Vegas, check it out at the DUB Magazine booth.

Yes, all those sponsors were embroidered on. As far as I know it is wrapped not sprayed because one you can't embroider on metal. I'll update it when the owner of Air Runner responds =p

I was at Airrunner a few weeks ago when customs said the Vellfire was here, Shin showed me pictures of it, and it is their company car from Japan that his brother drives. It is a full leather wrap and the Van will be here for a few months before going back to Japan. I'll be going out to SEMA this Wed so I'll try to get some more pictures if they don't already appear on the internet because it's just something soo different.

It looks like the entire exterior is wrapped in leather?? I love the concept of it.. and how it materialized. just wondering how it's going to hold up in the long run. maintenance/upkeep????

Yeah Im sorry, I can appreciate the craftsmanship of the work that went into this vehicle. But like Blitz said....why? Nothing seems to flow at all.

I can also apreciate the time that went into the build , but I dont like it at all . I guess this is just for show , or that leather is bullet proof

Wow thats sick. I wouldn't personally do it but for a show/promotional car, why not? I think it was genius on the part of airrunner. First you got a van with a kit, rims, air done cleanly. Thats not common in the states. Then no one had ever seen that type of van ever. You got the JDM wow factor and then you add on top of that its wrapped in leather? Talk of the show Cha ching

Awesome for a show car. Obviously can't be DD. Craftsmanship and concept are second to none.

"Well, you make the outside of the club look like the inside. You know, you put down a rug outside and some couches and pipe out some music. People will love it. But, then on the inside.... Looks like the street. You know, you park some cars inside, a mailbox, street signs, and that way when they come in, it's like the outside is the inside and inside is the outside."

first thing that popped into my head..... LOL

Bout time someone leather wrapped an exterior.
Marine vinyl is ridiculously resilient. It's meant to withstand saltwater + 110 degree direct arizona sunlight + drunk people stumbling all over it + captain stabbin and his escapades. That stuff will hold up better then paint. If its parked indoors the color will last a while. If they used the right thread that'll stay fresh for years and years.
Could leather wrapped hoods be the next fad? All it takes is a $30 jug of contact cement and some material...
