Currently rocking SSR Vienna Dish...but obviously not sitting as flush as it should be even though it's +15 all around, 8.5 front and 9.5 rear by 19s. Will be on hellaflush Forgiato really soon, once I get the proper stretched tires installed.
my 2 cents:
clean Bimmer, for the most part.
ditch the tail lights (they look cheap and detract from the overall quality look of your 7 series)
yeah those wheels look really dated. Definitely do the Forgiatos.
other than that maybe some coilovers, and a clean lip kit.

The SSRs are going to come off soon and it is on coilovers. Check out how tucked the rear wheels are compared as to before with the 6 series wheels. Both set of wheels are 19s.

I like those 7series more than the new ones. I was looking for a pic of this guy's e38 that I met last week at a meet, sooo sick. Black on black SLAMMED on some Stern wheels. Here's a linkey, you may have to browse through the pages, sorry man gotta leave the office and don't have time to find it now but there are also a few other e38s slammed on Alpina there for you for some inspiration. Those will be in pages lik 3-5 somewhere. Clean ride man.

It's a work in progress and it's my DD, so everything has to be form and function.

Wow, thats a clean ride! Looks so long and low on those viennas, i really think they suit the car
What forgiatos are you getting? Are you getting 19s again? I cant see many on their lineup that appeal to me as much as those Viennas do on your car - classic wheel for a classic look

Yea, the Viennas are really nice, but I think the fitment could be better. I can get some H&R spacers but I'm not a big fan of using spacers in general. We'll see, I might play with it some more.
Forgiato Concavo is what I have, went up to 20x10.5 rear and 20x9 front I think. Not sure on the offset, but it's HELLAFLUSH. :giggity: Need to find my some stretchy tires. Wheels were made for an e65/e66.

...cool, here's one I robbed from stanceworks, mojo's 7
Like I told him at the meet, e38 is one of those cars that even when stock is a goregous ride that has a presence on the road and once slammed, damn it's deffinately a good example of "wide n' low"
(some of VSC's finest in there too)

What air setup are you looking at? Just something custom from off the shelf pieces or...? I'm thinking of going air for 2010 as well, plus I already have coilovers.

I already looked into something custom off the shelf, but it's easily over $4K. In that case, I would be more than happy with the $3K setup from AirRex

nice
Takin this one back a bit...
The car looks greats man, those rear 1/4 shots of the car are gangster.
Only a single TINY suggestion... I think if you drop the front even 1" its gonna make the car look wayyyyyyyyyyyy better and give it the more aggressive stance that OG beemer deserves
