Always the New Guy...

Well, I had a nice elaborate post all written up and the forum got rid of it when I tried to post. So rather than write it again, I'll sum it up short and sweet.

The name is TJ. I'm an import guy and always have been. I'm an avid drifter, but between my 240 and my frontier, something is missing. So I'm going to build a car with comfort, style, and performance. I'm not interested in arguing over what is and what isn't VIP, or VIP style. I will build it to my liking with pieces from this culture because it is something new to me and something I have wanted to do for a while. I will probably never be a VIP purist, but I respect those of you who are. All I ask is that you return the favor and remember that I have chosen this forum because it most closely matches the car I want to build, not because I want to build a car that necessarily pleases the members of this forum. I look forward to meeting and/or talking with any and all of you about your tastes, likes, dislikes, and most importantly, your cars.

As of now I've come to a decision. I will be building a 98-05 Toyota Aristo. However, the one I buy will be left hand drive and will come with Lexus badging as a GS300. White with a black interior, no exceptions. I don't plan to compromise on this car at all, because like one of the moderators said in a sticky, if you focus on building the car you want, and not what is VIP, at the very worst you'll end up with a non VIP car that you love.
