president front end fitment

newbie question...   what is the latest year of the q45 infiniti that the president front end conversion can fit in?

Im not exactly sure, but i think it only fits 90-96 q45s... hopefully someone else will confirm.

I thought that there was an F50 President!!

the f50 is a different model from the g50 with a different body/frame. the 02 up q45 is the 02 up f50 equivalent i believe. and the 90-96 q45 is the 89-2001 g50 president equivalent... i am pretty sure and hope someone with more knowledge will confirm. the 02 q45 does not require a f50 headlight conversion because i believe they are the same whereas the g50/q45 headlights are not.

2002 is the latest for the g50 chassis.

to be more specific, what is the latest year of the Q45 infiniti can you do this front end conversion like the one on this pic. I'm   really looking into getting a Q45 as a project car and I want to get this front end.  I want to start with the  latest model instead of the older ones like the early 1990's .   Thanks

if it is then it fits the 1990-96 q45 (mostly fits, not too much fabrication required...)

G50 90-96 = PHG50 President
02+ F50 = I am a lil confused because I have seen these as Cima's and Presidents. I believe the US Q45 of this year is the F50 Cima. And there is more needed to fit the President F50 Front, such as lights as the hood is a lil different do the larger grill.

Looks very similar but I thought I read someone attempted the conversion but the lights were slightly different. Not too sure on this though.

f50 jsut seems like its the hood that makes it different.. . and headlights..

i wonder if it is the same headlights, just a different hood and front bumper to accommodate the hood. the cima looks like just a different hood, i bet the bumper from the cima and q45 fit the same. The president looks like the bumper doesnt have the part coming up next to headlights because the president grill/hood are attached and hangs over.

Ummmm, yeah that is a no brainer.

no offense, but that wasn't the question, it was what was the newest Q45 that has a president front end that fits...well the F50 is the newest and it does have a President front.....

96 IS the last year of the G50 in the states and would be the newest car that fits the G50 body style President front end...

The JDM F50 headlights ARE different, but they have the same basic shape

hes asking about a specific president model... i was asking for more info on g50 or f50 to help out the guy 

so the question isn't "what was the newest Q45 that has a president front end that fits," its: what is the newest q45 that fits the president model that he wants...

to my understanding, you would need the f50 president hood, f50 president front bumper for starters... headlights seem to be the same. 
 
japan has both f50 cima and f50 president so im thinking that most of the parts are the same i.e. bumper reinforcement, bracketry, etc... just the small things behind the bumper. iirc, in widebodyQ thread he said he needed the hood latch assembly cuz it was lower of something... 
 
that would be pretty sick seeing a f50 president converted f50/q45 in the states... i think people would trip on that grill... massive. and im pretty sure it would cost a grip. those parts would have to be bought from the dealer, i doubt youd find a wrecked f50 president being parted out in japan. good luck though...

The U.S. G50 Q45 (90-96)  
The President in Japan that fits the G50 chassis went from 90-02
 
The newest version of the Japanese President that fits the G50 chassis is much more then the older versions.  The headlights for one are xenon and very expensive even used.

Aint a kit homeboy, you gotta look around and find a chopped up President or someone parting it out. Your best bet Yahoo J or Ebay Japan. Im sure some of the sponsor shops here can get you the parts but trust me, you will pay a pretty penny for it. Agi is just a baller so he can do that!
