So I finally have orders to go to Japan, now, is there a VIP scene there? Any availability of parts?

there is a scene in Okinawa, small but it does exist, more so kcars and vans - you have to mingle a bit - I have some good japanese friends that are in crews as well as a hand full of Americans

There was a time when you could hit Kokusaidori Street on a friday or Saturday Night and there would be tons of cars - I'm not sure where everyone goes now

Cruise - Chatan, Nago, Yamitan, Hamby Town, and Kokusai - most enthusiast cruise this area - you will become very familiar with 58

parts on top of parts - junk yards - military recovery lots and shipping is a non issue

The thing is your gonna have to look I know its a small island but I spent 12 yrs on that island and I have seen every thing in the car world there and the junk yards are very good to alot of rare things if your lucky good luck and have fun .
