project "i cant catch a break" is finally homee!

the big boy is out of the shop. finally after 5 whole months.
about to get some wiper delete panels for the headlights then play with spring pads to go a lot lower (esp in the rear)
the wheels will be here by next week or so, anticipating that.
just happy to see her back home. such a joy to drive :)

very nice, its good to see a mercedes like this model getting looked after and loved so much, as a old merc like this in the uk, does not :(
Keep the pictures and work going and cant wait too see her on a nice set of wheels! ;) btw, if you want german plates to go with your german car, try www.dubmeister.com, they might ship woldwide, but i use them for stuff. They have also got my wheels in stock for my golf :P

springs...suprisingly.
im going to start messing with spring pads once the wheels get here to go lower. they work as coilovers.

dayyyyyum!!! so clean!! i wish my car was this shiny, i think i'm gonna save up n repaint my car with plenty of clear coating!!

how much ride height adjustability does that give you?
do you need to take the suspension apart to change/install/uninstall the spring pads?

how much ride height adjustability does that give you?
do you need to take the suspension apart to change/install/uninstall the spring pads?

its a mercedes thing. thats how they get the amg cars lower than the stocks.
there's 4 different sizes, 1-4. lower the number the lower it drops the car. 1 pad = 16mm i beleive. you just got thru the pads until you find the perfect fitment. theyre like $6 from the dealer.
