interior is nice.....exterior looks like a copy of the new TLs which isnt a good thing IMO

That is the nicest interior GM has EVER made.  I'll hold judgement till I see the materials in person.  I have a bad feeling that its not very nicely made going from GM's track record.

For what it sells for, you can't expect the materials to be great.  I sat in one and it is def more upscale then a 300c but not up to standard as a real luxury car.  They did a great job with it.

There are a couple things that I don't like on the exterior like that body line.  Other then that, I like it more then the LS460.  Not saying its a better car, just based off of looks.  Genesis Killer right here

yep guarantee materials will be a dealbreaker. i was just checkin this thing out on edmunds the other day. its overall pretty smooth, if it was a cadillac instead of a buick it would sell better.
like someone mentioned the acura tl-ness isnt that great looking. and that charger lookin bodyline is out of place, looks like its trying too hard.

rather rock an XF. :shrug:

In person it doesn't look like a lexus/acura at all.  It's like how people thought the LS460 looked like the 745 till they could see it in person. They moved the old buick vents to the top of the hood and in person they are very striking.

Hahahaha....thats what my girl said about my car too! Seriously tho, im not a big fan of the newer fender designs. What happened to the sleekness? Now seems like most are over radiused..that ones like an inch..

LOLz I wasn't trying to insult.  Just saying most of the cars we own are made for old people.

From pics and articles, I like it. I wanna get out to a Buick dealership sometime soon to check it out in-depth though.

Buicks had that style of bodyline long before the Charger existed.

I was thinking more Bentley GT-ish but there you go.  They just went deep into their history to get styling cues.

I've referred to my car as the 'geriatric mobile' lotsa times. I love it.
My buddy's asked me if it came with a lifetime supply of Bengay (no homo) when I bought it.
 
I actually saw one of these in person today and although it does have Lexus styling cues I found it to look much shorter in person. Almost stumpy.

overall a nice car, could well be executed vip style, would look sick on some bazreias like that other buick

Stopped in the dealer while I was there to take a look.  EVERYTHING (and I mean er-tang) is wrapped in leather or vinyl. Stitching and all.  They are very much so gunning for lexus.  The materials used and how they are constructed are not to GM's standards they are much closer to lexus's. Better then any toyota out there right now that is for certain.  For some reason the interior in pics and the interior in real life don't really look the same.  

It's obvious they thought this one through instead of just mash stuff together. My only (seriously only) complaint is that they headliner is the same material all the other GM's are.  It's that whack 'gauge' like stuff. Not a hard fix but its still something to think about.

Also I don't think any of the buttons are shared with GM cars, I think they are all new.  They have the "filled with butter" feel. Lexus fills their buttons with white grease which gives it the buttery smooth feel.  I didn't want to start pulling apart a 2010 car in the showroom so I didn't investigate further :P
