It was supposed to be for my 420SEL. I was going to do a bolt on and flared sheet metal widebody like the 1970 AMG SLC. But the 420 is TOAST. Motor is a lump of metal, had to loot parts for my 500SEL. Now the 13" wide's I bought for the front are going on the rear of the 500 and i'll eventually get some 11"'s for the front. Now i'm hanging on to the 15x16's for when I tackle the slantnose SEC i've been wanting to build for a while. Going to be a febuary/march project at the soonest. Very disappointed my 420 can not be saved. Cost me a G to tow the damn thing back to MN and now I gotta part it out just to cover the tow.
