removing front springs (2003-2004) Infiniti M45

The espiler springs are already done in the rear. Anyone know how to get the front springs out?

you need a spring compressor for the fronts man, be careful cause they're loaded

yea you dont want a hole in the wall or ceiling lol . 
 
you can rent those compressors out at autozone for a few bucks but do be careful. best way is to raise the car and let it sit high for a while so the springs loose some compression.

Already got spring compressors. Looks like we need to remove both ball joint to remove the hub strut assembly. Didn't get to finish tonight, we will see first thing tomorrow when we can make some noise.

We have spring compressors already. the problem is getting the shock out.

Well if you're planning on smackin the ball joint outta strut, make sure the have a nut on it to cover the threads otherwise, you'll be havin more problems :pat: Even then, it still ain't the best way to pop em out

aight lets see what happens.

springs are done. for the fronts we had to remove both ball joints which were a pain. other than that, waiting for the springs to settle than a photoshoot.

Fronts are still bit high, rears have less than a finger gap. While the fronts have a finger and a half gap. Since the engine is in the front in sure the fronts will even out as soon as they settle.

Wheels are on bro. Give me a couple weeks so the springs fully settle. Pics will be up asap. Check for my thread in a couple days.

I actually have a life, and wouldn't have made up a thread of bull****! just wait patiently like everyone else.

Fronts are fun right?  I borrowed a pitman arm kit from my local parts store that lends them out.  You need just the right size to push the ball joint out.  Make sure you use the one with the cup on the end because the one with a point will damage the threads.  Don't ask me how I know lol
