I just sold my Tacoma today :sad: hows the rear with the bed down cause i had 18x9s and they were pretty close when i dropped it. No camber LOL

still really close with the 19x11.5 gotta widen the bed more to tuck..

Nice frenched antenna and laid back too..doesn't match the windshield angle?  But still cool...

just picked it up in gardena. been off the road for the last 10 years. found it in a friends back yard. starts up and ran fine. drove it home the same night 45 miles with no issues. gonna clean it up for now. pic is how i found it. no major cancer either. photochopped the drop. lol

Im working on the body and paint right now with mike at i-design in walnut,ca. Straightening all the dings and dents, shaving off the moulding, side marker lights, antenna, full color change paint and shortening the bumpers, hopefully finding all metal replacements like these ones.

...I just read back over this whole thread... and saw the closeup shots... that's a coupe you've got there!... waaaay cooler than the liftback (and therefore you're NOT actually tryin to come up on my liftback-dork-steeze.) ...and yea, your 'Rolla is lookin tight!

gonna finish the taco first before any more work to the xterra..thats the wifeys daily till i can get the taco on the road. the corolla has 3 inch lowering blocks on the rear right now..to get more low i need to c notch the frame in the rear. until i can get the glass in, that on hold for now too....

Heres a pic of my old rig. 94 with ome 6" lift on 32"  tires with rock slider and guards galore... and a little something here and there...sold it a few years back....you need to teach me how to go more high on the xterra..no one out here or on the truck boards are going that big.....from your list of cars..you gots the know how...

Well not to jack your thread but figured youd be interested.....heres a couple pics of my Rover (4in lift, 36" Swampers, and all other kinds of other crap) and one of my Bronco on 44" Boggers (Dana 60s, ARBs, 5.38s, 351 Windsor, etc) next to my dads new K5 Blazer. The Blazer will be getting a 60/14 bolt combo, 6 in lift and my Boggers because I am going to 47" LTBs or 49" Iroks haha. We run mostly mud around here because the rocks are a 4+ hour drive away so we only get on them once or twice a year. 4-wheeling is definately my favorite car-related hobby....

As for your Xterra, I dont have any direct experience with Nissans but I have seen the SAS swap/37s+ done quite a few times. There are bolt/weld in conversion kits you can buy from companies that will convert the front to leafs or coils/links and then all you have to do is supply the axle. I also think that you could fab up what you need to do the conversion yourself, expecially judging by what you have accomplished with the Taco. 
 
Spend some serious time on [URL="http://www.pirate4x4.com"]www.pirate4x4.com[/URL] . Its by far the best 4x4 site on the net and the guys on there have some serious experience with what they are working on.....there is even a Nissan specific section that you can read through. Just be careful what question you ask, most of them will jump down your throat if you come across like you dont already know what youre doing haha.

awesome!..thanks for the help..your trucks are amazing..my piece had its time..ran strong till the day i gave it up, only prob were the steering bushing and alternator problems = constant swaps and rust. Body was really mangled close up..we took it everywhere and practically into evreything..lol.

Haha yea Rovers sure do have a serious rust problem.....Mine came all the way from Florida and still had the front floors replaced. I have only seen two other ones on the road up here in the past year and a half, they are rare as hen's teeth because of what the salt does to them. Even D1s are starting to get hard to come by. 
 
You definately gotta do some stuff to the Xterra though, its got good potential!

Definitely looks dope!  I've been wanting to build a mini VIP-inspired!  IRS + HiLux + low offset wide wheels = dope.  
 
Should have got rid of the body lines on the doors and fenders, since widening the rear required the omitting of the body lines back there.  Still dope!  Lots o work.

Cowl should have been smoothed..it looks out of place as the only straight cut line on the truck.  Would have been money if smoothed out..but other than the hood cowl..I like.

thanks..yeah i needed the cowl for the 5.7 tundra motor im planning to stuff in..for more headroom...gonna work on the hood more when the motor goes in..

im suprised this thing isnt for sale already. haha
