Small lighting problem y33 cima 1997

Hey all, 
For some reason My Middle room lamp on my y33 has stopped working, Not the left/right room lamp, But the little one inbetween that shines down onto the stereo controls. Left and Right ones are still working which i thought would of been on the same fuse... But maybe im wrong??
Also My stereo backlight has stopped working,  But only on the buttons everything else is lighting up. 
The buttons light up only when i push them... So when its night time I cant see what button im pressing...
Any help would be appreciated... I cant seem to find any info on the nisoclub FSM, Maybe im looking in the wrong spot? Or maybe my NZ lingo is different and im trying to look for the wrong definition??

That center light is called a ''map light''. But thats about all I know. Mine is still running strong so I have never looked into it.

You just pull the whole map light out using your finger nails, i think its just the light that stop working, and for the rest of your stereo controls, dont have idea sorry man.

Cool thanks, I did swap the stereo For one without paint and wood trim bits missing... so maybe I should open her all up and swap the light housing back over.

That thing just pops right out, pry it and pull, it'll take you like 2 seconds to do. Probably a couple screws holding in the lamp in place IIRC. Id give you mine if you were close by.

I forget which one it is but it is replaceable with an LED or a stock replacement.  It is as easy as mentioned.

Hmmm.... Pulled out my fuses... nothing was blown.... Cant figure out what it is... GODDAMN IT!!!  - Still no stereo backlights/Auto selection lights..... :( Sad sad day for me...

Illumination wire to the radio getting power???

Will have to try and figure out which wire that is.... Any ideas? lol
