GothamVIP Video Shoot 2009

Some member of GothamVip got together to shoot this video.  [SIZE=2][SIZE=2]Bear in mind this is my first excursion in the realm of video, so there are some things that aren't as perfect as I would like, but it is a great portrayal of life in NYC and some of our crew. pretty cool vid.

nice footage, i wont lie.. that date stamp was annoying me!  hot cars as usual from  gotham.  Shooting video is alot more fun than taking pictures!

I have to agree, I was gonna trash the whole footage because of that unfortunately I couldn't get the camera again so I used what I had.  The time is stamped on the film from the camera recording and there was no way to remove it.    This was my first real video shoot so the next one will be better.

I gotta admit you guys have some TOP notch cars over there!,    i'm jelous!,    there's next to NO vip scene in BC.... :(

BC is way behind.  I've had a few VIPcars and my F50 needs a lot of work to get to this level!

yES Sir... Vlad that video came out official... I'm glad I was able to be a part of it... it was fun doing it... specially the Halal Chicken and Rice with BBQ Sauce stop we made... ;)

You guys don't ride air'd down?  It seemed like only Rodney and the Blue GS actually roll air'd down.  or maybe it's the camera.  Eitherway.  nice shit.  finally more VIP vids are around other than searching through endless Kanji on YouTube to find next to nothing.lol

I know everyones a critic...but, the vid was really kewl. Some areas dragged out a bit and the vid could have benefitted from some dope stills....still sik tho!

No problem Rob, had I known you would be willing to make the trip, I would've invited you but this was sort of 2 days in advance notice so not everyone was able to make it.  But I'll let you know next time something is going down.

Everyone rides different, the Blue GS is mine and I can speak for myself that my ride height on 18"s is no finger gap all around, however everyone's air suspension varies and different kits.  Rodney rides lower than me daily though, but if I was rolling aired down I wouldnt be able to make a turn without ripping out my front fenders and leaving my oil pan on the road.

Thank you, I probably should've made 2 videos but I liked the way the end came out and kept it in there.  But this is a first pro try for me so its a work in progress.  But thanks.

The stills arent actually stills but four different shots layered together and slowed down.

The 1st and 2nd gen GS's are running on UAS
The TL is on Airruner

Nice vid.

What I would different.
 Since these are vip cars no real special effects needed like mirroring or lots of slow motion.
I wouldn't use mirroring as it gives it an old 80's music video feel to it. Slow motion shots would be maybe a second or two. Try to get lower angles to give the viewer a different view point. Also maybe panning from a backdrop of a building or skyline to the vehicle. Some out of focus into focus could add  more flare also.

I used to love trying to make videos for my "drift club" but it gets to be very demanding on time and patience. Soooo much editing involved.

Can't wait to see the next video. Good job.
