Help With My Stance

Finally picked up some wheels...Mandrus Millenniums 18 x 8.5 all the way around, offset +43. Weak I know, but there aren't many options for my car:shrug:

Anyway, they're wrapped in Falken FK452s 235/40. Unfortunately they came out looking really small and I've got about a 3 inch gap between wheel and fender on the rear. What do you guys recommend to improve the look? Springs/coilovers? Spacers?

Riding pretty 4x4 but it's damn comfortable:biggthumpup:

Hmmm those arent wide at all to stretch a tire on once you get to kick them out. 

whats your budget on suspension ... I'd go coils or air personally.

There are *heaps* of options available for your car. Not like its a lada or something with wierd PCD pattern. And even if it was, as a merc, pretty much all wheel manufacturers would make an application for it.
 
And with almost any decent size car, 18s without a drop will just look stock. Just get coilovers, lower it about 4" (cancel out the wheel gap, and then an inch of tyre too), and then just save up for another set of wheels.

yea i say coilovers but lol i dont think theres any coilovers that will drop a benz 4" and clearing the gap is only about a 2" drop.......good luck with what you chose im saving up for juice now cause my e320 still not low enough for me yet :pat:

It's nice to see another Benz owner on VSC. I really like your vehicles look with the simple things like clear side markers and neckpads. I wasn't really sure how I'd feel about black neckpads on tan leather but your car pulls it off nicely. 
 
For the w204 there are two coilover options that come to mind, H&R and Ksport. Keep in mind that the H&R kit costs $1,300+ which is almost the same as air. Ksports are pretty economical around the $900 mark. You will probably get that 3" drop you're looking for with these. I'd ride on your wheels for a while but I would think about selling them off for something a little larger and wider. Many wheel companies will drill any wheels to your 5x112 bolt pattern. I like how you're reppin the VSC sticker. You can PM me any tech questions about your Merc.

First time I've ever purchased aftermarket wheels for a vehicle, so I was a bit fearful of pushing the envelope.:pat: 18s seemed perfect for me but in retrospect I guess 19 x 9.5 or 19 x 10 may have been better.

Currently there aren't any ready made air suspension kits that I can find for the W204. Some of the air kits I was looking at though were in the neighborhood of $3k-$4k.:sad:

I'll probably go the route of coilovers to try to close the wheel gap. I'm not looking to slam it to the ground because it is still my daily driver, but a healthy drop would really help my cause.

@Tabaka thanks for the kind words and prices for coil overs! The interior is actually a stone grey/black combination, I'll post up a better picture later today.

Congatulations. I'm a Mandrus fan myself LoL. I too am on 19x8.5 all around. Currently on 235/35/19 tires but I'll wear through these and wrap them in 215/35/19 shortly. I cut 1 1/2 coil off the fronts and 1 3/4 off the rears #1 spring pads all around. 25mm spacers on the rears and it's spot on flush (had to shave top half of sidewall to get there before fender roll) I just got some 10mm spacers for the fronts and I'll chime back in to let you know how it looks once they're on. I'm finding out that it's a process. After I swap out the tires I'll more than likely be removing my rear spring pads completely to tighten things up. Good luck and again congratulations. Nelson, indirectly you got me looking at Mandrus wheels after I saw the pics of your car and the badges. Ended up being the choice I made, and for a great price too!:biggthumpup: Definitely shoot me some pics when you put spacers on, I'd like to do the same and get as flush as possible.

Haha, cool. I have since shaved all trunk badges, but yeah, for sure man. I'm actually waiting to hear back from dude w/ the fender roller to see if he's available tonight. I wanna slap these bad boys on already, not gonna make the mistake I made w/ the rears though, fender roll first this time, then spacers...so over melting the paint on my front fenders too hehe. For sure man. Will do.

Nice car, If im right you have the 5x112 Bolt pattern on your car. With that Bolt Pattern there is a get deal of wheels you can pick for your car. And if you still dont think theres enough to chose from. Wobble Bolts(aka 14twelve lugs from raderwerks.com)  which allow you to properly fix 5x114.3 Wheels on your 5x112 Car. I hope i helped.

Benz owner here there is alot out there for 5x112. since you just got your wheels ride on them and play arond with your suspension and other goodies then you can always change them out.

New wheels will definitely be something in the...distant future.

Pretty sure my girl would have my balls in a jar if I told her I wanted new wheels a week after getting these haha.
