a stint of bad luck

I just recently started my GS project in July and it has all been going relatively smooth until last week when i hit a stint of bad luck. i was driving home after a HIN preparty and was going about 40 mph and all of a sudden a possum runs out of the woods next to the road and right in front of my car. i slam on my breaks but dont have enough room to avoid it and hit it and it knocks my kit off of alignment and busts some of the fiberglass holes where the bolts were holding it. so the next day i clean it off and try to refit it on as best i can and its fine the next few days then i go out a week later and park in downtown and when i come out some crack head thought it must have been funny to steal my passenger mirror and one of my fog lights. The thing that makes me the most mad is that i know they arent gonna use it. So the next day i went to Lexus to find out how much a new mirror would cost me. They nearly gave me a heart attack when they said $665.00!! The reason its so expensive is because i have the memory adjust and heated mirror but the only part they stole was the glass and the little plastic piece behind it. *shakes head* So then i go in search for a fog light however its a custom fog light not the oem one because it fits into the body kit so i had to just search online and purchase one under the dimensions of the one that i still have. *sigh* i hope my bad luck doesnt continue :'(

Kenji I am sorry to hear that. Some people do stupid things because they think it's funny. Have you tried any junk yards? I would try searching online...you should be able to find one there. Or E-bay...

That's messed up man! Hope you find those replacements parts at a cheaper price!

yah i know im searching online and posted a WTB on club lexus and have heard back from a couple people who are searching to see if they have any. It sucks. i went and ordered a temporary mirror while im searching because i never realized how much i use the door mirrors until i dont have one.. it sux.. i have to take extra long to merge lanes now just to be on the safe side. oh well i guess it makes me more cautious.

im just gonna cross my fingers that my luck changes and things start goin a lil more my way. thanks for the concerned words.. once i get everything back on then ill be taking pics of my progress..
