Thinking of 2006+ M45...
So I am thinking of getting back into the VIP scene...can anyone point me in the direction of coilovers that actually go low? Only restriction: no K-SPort or JIC.
Also for offsets on wheels, I hear 9/10 +20 is a fairly safe setup...nothing too crazy, but not conservative either. So if you have more info on that, I'd appreciate it.
Picture of my old Q just for the hell of it.

There is nothing wrong with JIC. Maybe the ones you had were blown or advertised with less miles on them then there actually was.
Anyway, glad to have a long time member back. Your Y33 was nice

Pab, JICs are NICE, yours were blown to hell. But I ran into a guy with Teins and 20's in Bellevue a while back when I had my y34 and his car was lower than your y33 was.

Thanks guys! Luckily it looks like my car still has more time on its warranty than I thought, so I can take my time and search for the right M.
I checked out Teins coilovers and found it to be rather strange that up front they drop it down by 3" and in the back by only 1.5".
Also what is the rear suspension like on these cars? Is the spring located on the shock itself or separate from it off to the side?

They stopped making the Q because it didnt sell not because it was crap. Anyway, it is still for sale in Japan so get your facts straight. It has beaten the Sclass, LS430, Jag XJ, Audi A8 as well as others in magazine reviews in the F50s early days.
