2GS wheel fitment pro's can I run this???

I have RCA's up front for starters so I don't want to run uber camber [IMG]http://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif[/IMG]
But can I run 225/35/20 or 225/30/20 tires (rears will be 235/30/20).

For the following front offset?

20x8.5 +20? Or will I need to shave 5mm off the offset making it a +25?
Fenders will be rolled.

front should fit fine. might want to look into getting a 215/35/20 for the 20x8.5

im running a 19x9 in the front with a 215/35/19 and still have room

im running a 19x8.5 +15 up front on a 215/35/19 and no problem at all and im pretty low to the ground.

i wouldnt go 8.5 +25 id stay with 20

i never recommend going 8.5 width on 19+ diamater.  cant stretch shit on it.

The wheels in my sig were 20x8.5 up front +14.

The tire you want is a 225/30/20 Nitto Neogen.  They stretch the most.. they don't make a 215/35/20, and a 225/35 won't stretch enough.

You will always have to have your fenders cut or rolled flat.. recommend cutting them though.

If you want sidewalls, then you need a different set of wheels... I can tell you that a 225/35/20 with need every bit of camber you can spare... even then you will run the risk of destroying your fenders.

A setup like this will require maxxed out negative camber and a stretched tire.. only tire that will stretch is a 225/30.  It looks mean though.. sacrifice will be ride quality and bent wheels..

who here of the 2GS guys have cut their strut towers?
I thought the 225/35 was a wider tire? 
So for my new 20's...
Either 225/30 or a 225/35 but Ben you advise against? 

On an Aside:-my old wheels up front.... I'm running until the new ones are done:
I currently have a 245/35/19 on a 19x9.5 +35 I'm not rubbing...

Ben was super low and I doubt you will be driving that low or doing the mods to your fender liners

I have after market fenders but can squeeze alot in there too

A guy on CL advised to cut the (top) centers then use screws to secure the liners

That is how I did it on mine.  cut the top third out and used self-tapping screws to secure the other third of the liner on either side of the wheel..  

Unless you riding with half an inch of fender gap, I would advise against the 225/35 in with those offsets on a 8.5.

i notched the top on mine.

you dont want to run a +25, its pretty weak. im running 19x8.5 +15 and it is still pretty wack!
