Wheel fitment pics

Well I have been looking for some new wheels and I finnally settled on some Zinetti Masquerade wheels.  I'm looking to go 20x10 with a 38 offset and a 5mm spacer all the way around. a 40series on a 20ich rim?

Ya go with a 245/35/20 on the rear if you haven't already bought the tires. Unless you're going for the raked look.
And why 235 on the front? Do you need the space? If you need the space ditch the spacer and run a 245 on all four. It'll still be a nice stretch and you'll be able to rotate them easier.

yeah I already bought 1 245/40/20 to see what the fitment is like cause the car isn't lowered that much do to the shitty ohio roads around here.  I need the 235/35/20's on the front so they don't rub the strut mount.  I think I will Prolly end up doing the 235/35/20's all around so that i can rotate the tires.  I plan on ordering the rims next month so I can do the fender rolling and have it ready for spring.:giggity:hopefully all turns out good.  Luckily my buddy bought the nice fender roller this summer so all I have to do is spring for some drinks so he will help me out for the day.:biggthumpup:I will keep everyone posted though.  This is going on a 2007 saturn Aura XR a car that all the local shops told me i couldn't fit anything bigger than a 20x8.5.

Well I figured I would update everyone on whats going on.  I have been test fitting these to make sure they will fit 20x10 all around.  I had to get some 5mm spacers and order some extra long studs so the lug nuts will torque down properly.  I plan on going with 235/35/20 Nankang tires all around.  The rest of the wheels are ordered and on the way.  Hopefully everything will be in by the end of the month so I can test fit them all again and roll the fenders and lower the front end down a lil more.  Thanks for all the comments good and bad, hopefully the car will be looking more VIP styled once I get the stance down and a few more body mods like a lip kit.:giggity:

Ok so here are some crappy cell phone pics of the wheels installed.  I know the front needs to go lower, I just have to wait until it gets nice out so I can cut the front springs around an inch since nobody makes anything for my car.  The rears are pretty flush, I might take a half inch or so to be perfect.  The fronts are flush with the fender and the rears give me just a nice little poke in the back.  Let me know what you guys think.  The specs on the wheels are 20x10 all around with a +38 offset and 5mm spacers up front and 10mm spacers in the rear.  The ride is pretty nice and I can get a full lock to lock turn in the front with no rubbing issues anywhere thanks to some fender rolling in the back.(with my buddies eastwood fender roller)  Next on the list is a razzi front lip, install my oval exhaust tips, drilled and slotted rotors, and a double din touch screen with all the goodies on it.  I will have better pics when me and my buddies do a photoshoot with their M3 with dinan upgrades and tons of carbon fiber accents, and civic hatch with full power leather interior, wire tuck, and some other crazy stuff done to it.

Looks better. Doesn't Eibach and H&R make springs for your car?

I do admit its a huge improvement over your last set of wheels

suspension, down is the way to goo now. can't really say ho i feel about them until i see it all lowered.

Yes Eibach does make lowering springs which I already have installed, H&R makes some too but they are less of a drop than Eibach provides.  Nobody makes coilovers for it and I don't really have the money to go with air right now seeing as I am still in college and only work part time.   I plan on taking the front springs out with they help of some friends and cutting one coil off the top,  I think that this should lower the car perfect in the front.  Only time will tell.  I wish somebody made coilovers because I would already have em.

Take a look in your area and you might be able to find a shop that will make a set of custom coilovers for you. From prior experience $1500 is pretty much the going rate - at least around where I live. And from talking to the shops they say it's pretty easy for them too.

Thats the problem there isn't to many good shops around here.  One told me that 20x10s would never fit in the rear let alone the front, and I obviously got them to fit on a lower car with no major work.(just some minor fender work)  The other messed up a system I had them do in my old car, and my buddy took his M3 in for some new hid headlights and they couldnt find all the screws to put the lights back in so he took one that held the glovebox in and used it:pat:
If anyone knows of a shop that is in ohio that can make me coilovers for $1500 I would jump all over it.  For now the cut springs will have to do though.

Ok so it finally got nice out so I decided to snap some better pics.  If anyone knows a shop in ohio that will do custom coilovers please let me know.  For now I am probably just gonna cut the Eibach's I have installed now.

Lower will definitely help. It'll give more camber which will bring on the flushness. Keep us posted.

Good start man, definitely. It's hard to do certain things with an 'awkward' platform but you're on the right track. Looks like the fitment will be good once you lower it more somehow.

Better than anything I had as a student... chop the springs and go with a lower series tire... say 30 if the roads permit it. Without a doubt this will be a fresh ride and a neck breaker. Great job thus far...:biggthumpup:

Thanks for all the comments guys,  I have been working on a few things while finishing up my senior year in school.  I havn't had time to rip the front end apart to cut the springs so I started on a custom sub enclosure for the spare tire well.  It is almost complete, just needs wrapped.  Then hopefully I will have time to do the springs.  :dance:I think it will make a huge difference.

I have thought about ordering these, but I don't know it they will line up where the stock struts went.  I also saw your post on my other thread and I have already began to save up for some of the purchases from saturn styling,  I want some of the vauxhaul/opel stuff.  And I would like to pick up that front lip for the vectra.  Thanks for all the advice and help.
