Camber and Alignment

Going to get aligned soon...

What do i tell the alignment guy? Im going to a well known place that specializes in lower cars.

Do i tell them to align and adjust the toe? Or do they already know this. Also do i need to tell them that i WANT camber in the rear? If so do i specify to what degree?



I never had to do an alignment i cared about i always just dropped it off 

okay it depends on how radical of a vip enthusiast you are. haha gotta pay to play. if you are going purely for the VIP look, tell him you want the maximum camber for front and rear while retaining 0 toe. for example, i drive a 96'celsior and i have 3 degree camber front and 5 degree camber back and its about 0 toe so im happy. ;D

x2  Ask them for maximum negative camber and then to adjust the toe to oem spec.

Although I don't know how some of you guys get so much negative camber with stock components. 

I had my alignment with daizen 2 deg camber bushings set to 2 deg negative front and rear. With zero toe I have - 3.5 all around.
I need like -7 to 8 in the back ha

ok good if i already have the -3 deg camber shims in the back. can they set it were i can get more camber for the rear and the front?? 

Is having negative camber on a daily driven car bad? What else is neg. camber bad for besides tread wear?

reduced grip on extreme camber.

strangers looking and going "wtf?!"

wierd suspension twitches (prob. more associated with Toe problems)

i need to get an alignment on my van
i like the camber in the rear and i dont care about getting an alignment.
but next year, i will have to invest in a toe adjuster to get the toe aligned
