May 2nd, 2010 -Rev your Motors For a Good Cause!

Hello all, on May 2nd, 2010 is this year’s Ride for Kids event. Ride for kids is held in Torrance, CA with a parade route starting at American Honda Corp. (Near Status Auto Works). Starting in Torrance, and it’ll work its way through the Esplanade in Redondo Beach all the way to PV…Lunch will be provide at AHM afterwards…... Currently this event is only allowing motorcycles to carry these super-stars on their sidecars, but this year I have received permission (after inquiring last year) for vehicles to be parked through the parade route (lined up) and be allowed to rev their motors for these kids…[The motorcycles carrying the kids are police escorted from light to light]. Maybe next year these kids will have the chance to ride in vehicles if the vehicle turnout is good. By attending you’ll help:
•Find the cause of and cure for childhood brain tumors by supporting medical research 
•Increase public awareness about the severity and prevalence of childhood brain tumors 
•Aid in the early detection and treatment of childhood brain tumors 
•Support a national database on all primary brain tumors 
•Provide educational and emotional support for children and families affected by this life-threatening disease
