20" wheels on a 1995 LS400

I'm new to the boards and would like thank you guys for any advice you can offer.

I've been looking at these Jline SDMSL2 and wanted to know if this setup would fit.

20 x 8.0" +35
20 x 9.5" +45

I don't want to run too aggressive on the rubber as I don't want to risk damage from pot holes, curbs etc.. Also would like to keep somewhat of a comfortable ride. What tires can I run to achieve this without any rubbing? Thanks again.

If not this setup I am open to any suggestions you may have for 18s and 19s and offsets that would work for the 95 LS400. My budget is around $2200 without tires but I'm willing to go a little higher.

I would've expected that response from ignorant members but not from an admin. Why don't you pull your head out off your ass and offer something constructive instead of trying to cut man down whos just asking for advice?

Why would reffering you to a place with knowledge about what you are asking for not be constructive?

You were asking about not running an agressive set up and clublexus is just the place for it. You were also asking about comfortable tires, which hundreds of clublexus members would give you a better answer than a few of us here.

Would wanted advice, I gave you advice.

Re: 20" wheels on a 1995 LS400

This is true..

The description you are talking about is much more suited for CL members to answer as most members here run more aggresive wider wheels that require work to make them fit or are not afraid to make it work.

If you want a comfortable ride where you dont have to do anything to the car then CL would be your best bet with people that can answer you.

I think just about any of the mods here would have given the same answer. This is vipstylecars.com.

See what happens when you go to a lowrider site and ask for advice on lightweight JDM racer wheels. Same deal.

What's interesting with this response is that you automatically took V8_Aristos unbiased reply to your original post as a negative... which then means that even YOU know that going the clublexus route is something that you would rather not do. Or you might not have been cognizant of that fact at first, but I believe you do realize it now.
...very interesting....

Vipstyle's very own psychologist.

this forum is a place that would tell you to go with a lower offset, stretch your tires and slam your car. Did you want to be told that? If not, sorry you were wrong bud.

I just don't get it why he thought my reply was malicious.

Clublexus is a good site for his questions. And now instead of asking the same questions on CL, he decides to flame the site. Oh well, we cannot please everyone all the time.

Do we really have the best answers on this forum that we can't refer a member to another forum?

Actually there are a decent amount of people here with aggressive wheels. I mean, not as many as I would like of course, but there is always room for improvement.

Just makes me wonder what you car looks like? Not that it matters much, but You talk like you have some crazy agressive wheels, and I'd like to see any car with crazy agressive wheels ;D

You mean... crazy aggressive wheels that at least look like they might sort of belong instead of protruding too far out w/o any corrective measures to try and get them under the fenders, nor w/ fenders that look like a duck bill with herpes
