92 to 00 conversion...ls400
Looking to convert my 92 ls400 to the newer 2000 ls400 front end. Found the fenders and front bumper already and was wondering what other parts besides the obvious hood, grill and headlight, were gonna be needed... If anyone can help please do so. Thanks in advance!

It’s an interesting idea. However, there are noticeable differences in their proportions because they are different platforms, different cars. So I guess the challenge would be making everything fit seamlessly and proportionally. This will require a lot of effort. Personally, for the amount body work and the cost involved, I think you would be better off purchasing a 98-00.

Aslong as you got a good bodyshop on hand nothing is impossible.

Yeah it wont be as hard as said...might have to do some trimming and fiberglass to fill spots but other then that it shouldnt be hard. Just asking cause ive seen it done before and thought maybe someone had a little more experiance and tips to help with.

The most work will be adding metal next to the inner sections of the headlight since the older lights go all the way to the grill.To properly set the light all you have to do is match up were the headlight corner starts with the hoodline.The 2000 headlights are 2 pieces and oem replicas are all over ebay.
I saved this pic for comparison purposes since I wanna do the same thing.Still unsure if I wanna go on with the project or not though.
