It's on coils.  A company by the name of Fortune Auto.  A friend of mine owns the company.

Not after I went to town  with a cutter on the shock tower.  But yes, it was an issue in the past so I just cut them.

not fair to tease with one pic, where are the rest?


edit:  lovely rl!  the rear stance really brings it together for me, just aggressive enough!

Well, I was having technical difficulties with my camera and my friend, who was also shooting,  only gave me one so far.  haha  Some photographers we are.  I plan to try to get out tonight or tomorrow night to snap a few more hopefully.

Thanks agian guys.  AME, the cut job was crude to say the least.  I needed to remedy the situation and never got around to gettting it cleaned up and boxed out.  I Need to get that done for sure though.  It looks pretty bad.

Well, I was going to take a few pictures tonight but it's raining now and is supposed to turn to snow later tonight.  Looks like I will be waiting for the weekend for more shots.

No pictures of it.  I wouldn't want to show that off anyway.  It really is crude looking right now!

I was wondering if could enlighten me on how you modify your uca am banging pretty hard on me thanks for any info and let me know if you want to see my rl on your thread

basically I had to cut the shock tower where the arm  was hitting.  It's pretty much that simple.  Cut some, go drive it.  If it still hits trim some more.  Also, what are your spring rates?

O wow I can't cut the shock tower. That's crazy so basiclly their holes under the hood and could see the suspenion and all ? Lol the spring rate should be 13 front and 9 I think in the rear

Yep, you can see the upper control arm through the hole.  You are either going to have to cut it or raise the car to make the hitting stop.

thats what im gonna need to do. I just wanted to see were you cut exactly so i didnt have to try to guess exactly were it hits. 

This is just part of the process if you wanna drive low cant be afriad to do the work. But i totaly understand why someone wouldnt want to hack up there car.

If you are looking at the shock tower there is an oval piece that sits in the center with what looks like seam sealer around it.  I basically had to remove that entire section.  It's a pretty big piece that had to be removed.  I believe once I get thing situated properly I will have the boxed in.  It really does look horrible right now.  haha.  But like you said, if you want to ride low you have to modify things.  For information sake, I am running 12k springs in the front.

Thankfully no police came out.  There were no parking signs all over the place.


BTW Max, what's going on with the wheel changes for your car?  Any news to give us?  I'm interested to see what you have in mind.

I thought they were having just a springfest meet thing on the 15th that was suppose to be at the convention center but they took down the event. I heard they were going to move it to a parking lot but i havent heard any updates besides that. I know there is a big vip caravan comming from NC......

Hopefully Scott doesn't mind me posting this one up too.  The car is truly jaw dropping in person, but I don't expect any less from him.

Thank you sir.  It's a work in progress as are all of our cars.  It's only lowered on wheels for now so nothing too special.  I'm still torn if I should do aero or not.  I really like "stock bodied" VIP style cars so who knows.  Paint and interior are in the future as well.  First off, get a second car!  100 miles a day is no fun.
