Tsunami

I understand that there is a Tsunami headed toward Hawaii and the west coast as a result of the Earthquake that hit in Chile... God Bless and good luck to all on the islands.. for those of you who do not know, it is estimated to hit at around 11AM Hawaiian time.... The size is estimated to be 7feet high all along the coast, but who knows how high this will really be, or the effect of that much water.... please be safe move to higher ground..

yea..was reading that this morning..My prayers go's out to the ppl lost.

well to my understanding, the tsunami that hit hawaii in 1960 was caused by an earthquake off the coast of south america with a magnitude of about 8.5... last night, earthquake from chille (south america) with a magnitude 8.8 is scheduled to hit our big isle at about 1105am, the oahu (island im on) at about 1137am...
 
everyone is hitting up the stores gathering food and water.... people putting gas, gas stations are nuts right now... heard gas prices went up about $1.00...  they are telling us to stock up on about 5-7 days worth of food... 
 
where im located on th oahu, we are not in a flood zone, but should still be cautious... right now, 843am in th morning, we are getting ready to BBQ.... keep you guys posted...
 
also, HELLAFLUSH 4 has been postponed... we will have an update about HF4 at noon. might have an evenning event, or do it tomorrow...

I have some family in HI I have to check on them

Nothing goin on yet.but the water has receded in Hilo right now.

well they called off the tsunami warning... nothing has happened... yet.... hellaflush was cancelled today, but is on for tomorrow same time, same place....
