Dajap LS430 Suspension update #2

Sean (JDMPalace) helped me out and I finally got the Nagisa Auto Front Upper Arms. AutoFashion once again came through to install them for me. AF also went ahead and installed the Youzealand SS Kit Pro also. So if you guys remember in one of my first post the LS sat like this...

Forum image
Forum image

All in all after installing the Nagisa up front it gave me just enough camber I needed to get the wheels to fit correctly. The problem was with the Data System Controller, after the SS Kit Pro install (lowering the car an extra inch) going to L mode would have destroyed my fenders and rims.

Picture in L mode in the rear before the SS Kit

Forum image

So I had to suffice and stay at Level 9. 9 Wasn't low enough so 2hrs later adjusting the factory sensors this is the final result. Even all the way across!

, Looks good bro.. I'm not much into the low offsets and thought the first pics you posted without the camber wasn't gonna fit but looks like it came out spot on.. Did you toss the front fender liners as I'm guessing your pulled or trimmed the front fenders.

I have trimed rears and rub on the screw right behind the door. Trying to figure out a work around on that as well but its the only screw on the rear holding my sides up..
How are you able to roll at your current stance?

PS. Did they remove or trim your front rotor dust sheilds? I had to trim mine amd knocking out the tie rods were a huge hassel. Curious how much they charged you in the labor of getting everything installed.

Hope to see you cruising around San Diego Bro...

The only modifications done to the fenders is shaving the rear. I haven't pulled at all and the front fenders are stock. I can't remember the install price on the things but Autofashion will give you a great deal I'm sure!

I never knew that about the L mode but I guess it won't matter once I go Air Runner. You guys don't get annoyed of the fluctuating bags when driving? I especially hate how the car lowers itself on the highway at higher speeds. No Rub = No Love hahaha

I like to ride as low as possible (functionally) and I can't stand going lower on the highway at higher speeds cause when I get too low it starts to rub and I mean rub. If the Data System Controller didn't do that I'd be tempted to keep it except for the fact of not having instant movement at a flick of a switch. My xB had real air ride and it saved me from hitting road gators twice. My xB's ride height

i got really tired of the flucuating myself...

i striped the fourth wire from the data controller and made it reusable by adding a metal tip to it.....(ill try to take pic so u get the idea)
easy plug and play

so, when you get the desired ride height, wether its all 9's or even when you get the car even lower on the hwy just simply unplug that one jigged wire and the whole system ceases and stays put. been like that for a at least a year no issues. ( i got that data system in check.....(she made me mad by raising up all the time...now she stays put lol)

I never hooked up the extra wires that is supposed to go the passenger side. Does the one jigged wire happen to be on that part of the harness? If you get a pic for me that would be great! Thanks Gato!

no prob, got to radioshack or walmart and get some connectors...then grind it to a thin sharp edge to be able to fit in snug. the hole itself has alluminum exposed already inside it so it will make contact.

Real simple bro if you look at Gato's picture he pulled the 5th wire from the top row. The wire he is holding is the modded wire so that he can put it back in when he wants to adjust.

From what I saw yesterday when I messed with mine. When you pull that wire the car won't adjust no matter what. The compressor will never kick on and the car won't lower. What I was thinking about doing was running a switch in between so that I could keep my DSC right where it is and all I would have to do is hit the switch to either make it have contact or not.
