from this thread it seems these kits are same (except K-sport comes with 2 compressors), but you´ve got other options too: coilovers+UAS+dakota or airunner if you have $$!

If you only want coilovers and not bags, go with megans. I've heard a lot of good things about megans on ls400s. For me, I personally wouldn't buy any cheap brands but that's me and that's why I bought airrunner.

Yeah i just want a coil over kit....not bags at the moment. Ive used D2 suspension on my race car with no complaints, megans is more of a off brand then D2 believe it or not and i dont know much about the ksport coil over kit.

I know the other options if the extra funds were there but with building another race car and trying to do things to my ls400 is gonna break the bank already lol. I prob wont upgrade to bag way later in the yearr.

im on K-Sports and i wouldnt recommend it.. the price range is pretty much the same as D2s and Megans... i personally dont know how D2s and Megans ride but i dont like how the K-Sports ride... you could go really low on these but the comfort is ehh. i have them on all the way stiff and it still feels too soft for me but i guess it's jus me.

I don't know if K-Sport and D2 are still made by the same company, but if they aren't, then K-Sport is better than D2. K-Sport has a new manufacturer, and updated their coilover design. I had no problems with the v1.5 coilovers, and I will most likely buy the v2.0 coilovers for my next Protege.
Most coilovers are going to be too soft for riding very dumped, right out of the box. You can get stiffer springs, but you're better off just getting a coilover made for that kind of stance, like Tanabe, or one of the specialized Vip-style coilovers, not cheap-o coilovers.
People with Megans for their 240SX say they are quite stiff, I don't know what they're like for LS400.
But if you're going to bag your car in the future, don't waste time and money with coilovers right now. Just save up and bag it, then you won't lose money.

Guys im not worried about losing the money from buying a coil over kit. Like i said its to calm my nerves for the time being and since im a speed junky then i rather just get a coil over kit for now and bag it later after i finish my other build......again thanks for the info but please only need input on which coil over kit is the best bang for my buck....
Sorry if that makes me sound like an ass but just rather not read coil overs are cheap and save money and bag it etc etc.....just need info on the coil overs!

might check out BC Racing also...but not sure if they make an application for the LS400. (so this post might be useless)

Megans FTW! I love mine on my '00 LS. Do a search and you'll find nothing but glowing reviews.

nope, they are still in the box. I dont have a car yet.
On clublexus you can find review on many coils, check it! Megans seems to be popular on ls400´s! And you can use them later with UAS!
