Struts and Springs for y33

I've been looking all over the internet for about a week now and i have had no luck.  Does anyone know where i can find KYB SR Special struts for my y33? I'm looking to get lowering springs too if anyone can help me with those as well.  Any sites or people to contact for these things? Does anyone have some used ones their looking to get rid of or a set of coil overs? Thanks

you can do S14 spring and strut/shock combo. 
from what ive heard they fit.

also there are some companies that carry springs for y33's. espelir( i think) impul ect.
the drop doesnt seem alot thou.

Yeah i know you can use s13/s14 suspension on the y33. But to do the full conversion it's expensive i believe.  If you just use s13/s14 springs their to soft and compresses the springs over the smallest bumps, that's why you have to do the full conversion.  Am i correct on all of this?

memoryfab can get you the SR special shocks, and you can get Tein S tech springs

The teins they get are they really for the fgy33 or are they for the jdm cars that didn't have the v8 and are 300-400 pounds lighter and the springs are softer?

From what I've heard, you can do S14 shock/spring in the Rear, but not the front. Well for sure not the shocks, IDK about the springs

The whole conversion ain't too expensive, depends really if you're lookin for new parts or old. And if ya want adjustable links or not.

The reason the car compresses the springs isn't due to having S chassis springs on Y33 struts, it's cause you're puttin them on a much heavier car, so naturally, the car's gonna have more travel as the load's heavier. Plus all suspension travels going over "the smallest bumps" its just, better suspension absorbs that bump, preventing the driver from feelin it

The Teins are for the V6 model, I've been riding on mine since August 2004. The difference in weight is no where near 3-400 pounds. The V8 is all aluminum, the V6 is cast iron, so engine weight is about the same. I don't know why they're not listed for the V8, but I've personally sold and delivered over 40 sets to other Q's in the USA and not a single complaint (other than not low enough). I was the first guy in the US w/ them on a Q, so people hit me up to get more for them over the years.  And I cut mine about 2 years ago.

I am thinking about going with KYB SR Special Struts and JIC lowering springs. What do you guys think? I can get it for around $1000 shipped.

The KYB SR's are great, been on those about 5 years, the 1st year was just springs and stock shocks which sucked. W/ the KYB SR's the ride is really good still, plus KYB is the OEM shocks, so the fit is perfect. Never seen anyone on the JIC springs, curious to see how low they go compared to the Tein, which are about 2".

Just make sure they use the spacer which will come in the box for the fronts! It snaps into the bottom of each strut insert, and without it they'll be loose inside the strut housing, your ride will suck and it will make all kinds of noise!!  I got mine right the 1st time, but I had a few people hit me up because their front was clunking.  Just a heads up cause the instructions are in Japanese.

these are my options i have found all through the same site.  I think im gonna go with the jic their the cheapest ones yet offer the biggest drop. what do you guys think?

RSR I can see around the $300mark
ESPELIR maybe around the same.
not sure about JIC havent checkd them out
and tanabe df210 go for $185.

Yeah those prices are for the springs. That may include shipping? i'm not sure that's just the quote i got from tunerlab.jp. And they ship from Japan so i guess that's why its pricey? Where else can i find these springs for sale at the prices you're talking about ? Thanks
