HELP: 02 sensor for a Y33 !!!
Can anybody Help me with an 02 Sensor Code for 1997-2001 Y33
I went to get my Y33 Smog. Test result Failed!!!
Data Troubleshoot Codes:
P0139 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Pesponse (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0138 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor)
Is there 3 (02 sensor for a Y33?)
A few months ago, do to the rain. My car skidded and lost control for dodging Big ass rock. My car Hit and went over the sidewalk and over a little land scape and maybe hit something hard on the bottom of my car & was saved by a Bush. I almost hit the tree. Thanks to that bush! I'm guessing it's the bottom but don't which side of the 02 Sensor?
Can anybody give me any suggestion? Thanks

Ok I was thinking that there's No Engine Check Light is Not lit on.
Could it just be a regular Tune Up? Spark plugs, Spark wire, etc. I've Have this Y33 over a a Year
now but never Tune it!

kind of hard to tell just from the codes. bank 1 is driver side, so it has something to do with your driverside o2 sensors...
check for an exhaust leak somewhere on the driver side exhaust manifold... check for a vacuum leak somewhere on your intake manifold, but doubt that cuz its isolated to the driverside. would be better to have someone with a scan tool to check o2 sensor data.
google those codes in general. check your cat, see if it is glowing red at operating temps... possible bad cat. smell your exhaust gas to see if it smells rich, smells like raw fuel.
my guess, exhaust leak.. or faulty sensor(s).

Help 02 sensor for a y33.
 Yeah I notice that my exhaust smells rich in normal running Tempt. Just like you said it does smell like raw fuel. So Bank 1 (02 Sensor)is the one I probably hit in that incident. Which would be the bottom of the car. That make sense then!!! It not just tunning it up then???

Do search on NICO. lots of good technical info there.

Nico has a lot of info but a lot of smart asses....
You can take out both bank 1 sensors, pre car and post cat, clean them off of all the carbon build up, reinstall then see what codes come up again....
Usually what happens is post cat sensor goes out, ecu picks up on it and notices its not sensing enough fuel thinking its lean, in return pumps more fuel into bank 1 cylinders.

I went on Nico and How-to change 02 sensor. It has only one picture, wasnt to much details!!! Anybody knows any diaphram of Bank 1 sensor 02? Thanks...
