Pics of my 99 Q45t

Hello Everyone,

This is actually my first time posting here and would like to introduce myself. My name is Anthony and I currently drive a 1999 Infiniti Q45t (black on black). I've been working on this project since July when I picked up the car. When I originally bought the car I had already decided that I was gonna go for the VIP look. Thanks to Kennedy and his team at Platinum VIP in Irwindale, CA...I think I was able to achieve the that look. The car is sporting the JDS complete kit from Car Studio Japan. I currently work for VIP Forged Modular wheels and we decided to go with the blacked out theme of the car. We went with a custom texted bronze finish on the center and a custom wrinkle flat black lip. We decided to go with a 22" wheels or the 20's because we wanted to think outside the box a bit. We first tried on 20s but thought that the gap could be filled in a bit more...lol! It was a tight fit but it worked and I'm glad we did it...lol :biggthumpup:. We were able to fit a 22x9.5 on the front with a 3.5" lip and a 22x11 in the rear with a 5" lip. For suspension...I'm sorta embarrassed to say is pretty much stock. The car is only lowered on Tein S-tech springs :pat:. Anyways, here are some pics of the car that I took on the way home from Wekfest this past weekend. Let me know what you think.

Man when i first saw your car at wekfest i thought it was a bimmer but then i saw the infiniti front grill and my jaw went like this :eek2: your car looks even sicker on person!!!

When I saw it in the pics from wekfest I thought it was a 7. Haha. But yeah clean as hell. Just go lower and I think it'll be straight. See u when I see u. Peace

Your Q goes hard!!! I'm runnin 22's on my 1999 Q45 too and i got some questions for ya mine are 22 x 9.5 all around the back was no problem but the front rubbed the bottom of the strut like crazy so i got coilovers for the front and run tein s-techs in the rear. Tires are 245/30 how did you get yours to fit stock?

Smaller wheels will work better.

I had to run a 235/30/22...it was really close but it worked :shrug:. I needed the stretch on the tire to clear the stock tower that you're talking about. Like you, I too will be going coilover soon to be on the safe side.

I remember your car as well...you have a sick ride too homie! Yeah...I had to put something on the rear. It just looked to plain without a wing.

Sup Poges!!! Thanks man! I feel yah on the lowering part...haha! I'm just waiting for the coilovers and I should be straight. Will you be rolling out to the Remix thing in April? Hope to see there if you do...hopefully I'll have my coils by then and have my ish slammed...LOL!!!

22's actually look dope on the q45!!

Diggin the black out look. Looks mean! But personally 22s is way too big for my taste. I had 20s and that was koo but for my taste 19s on a Q is PERFECT not too big not too small, but that's me. Props to you for sticking to your own style and what you want to do.....and welcome

i think its dope but you i recommend you go with a more aggressive kit to make it look lower

Thanks Pancakes!!! I was originally gonna go with 20's but we just happened to have 22's lying around and we just tried them out and I guess you could say the rest was history...lol!!! I appreciate the words of encouragement from you and from everyone else! :biggthumpup: Hopefully there will be more to come!

Nice Q, I had 22's on mine 2 years ago now on 20's and debating going to 19's lol,  so its all good keep doing wat u feel sunny, I think it will look even better dumped on coils:biggthumpup:

looking grimey loving it just sitting too high but otherwise props.

it's gotta be cool to have the only q with this kit in the us but it looks a little too much like stock in the front for me.
