Aussie UZS 131

Howdy guys, my nick name is Bear.

I own a 1989 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon G. Not really much of a back story to me buying this car. I'd just finished my probation period at work and decided to take the plunge on a personal loan. Was looking for either a Celsior or a Soarer with the 1UZ (love the sound of a V8) Found this ad on ToyMods for a Crown and went and had a look. About 3 days later, the car was mine.

It's a great car, electric everything, fridge on the parcel shelf and a touch screen TV from '89!! Kinda stumbled onto this site looking for pics of VIP cars, haven't looked back since. I'm waiting for another couple of months to save money to start modding her.

Here's the list of future mods:

- an exhaust that actually adds a small amount of power, not just one that changes the note
- replace the bags with new ones ( still undecided about new factory items or aftermarket ones )
- new set of rims ( current thoughts are something BBS, what do you guys think? )
- a new kit from Japan ( the front bar is pretty bad )
- new interior
- bigger sound system

Just a quick insight into how my car may end up

Cheers

Welcome! Sounds like a nice car. Can't see any pics though - you have to register with the other site.

If you squint at my DP. that's my car! I love the old boat, almost need the captains hat as well! Lol, I'm enjoying just cruising with her at the moment. She isn't super low, but she still turn heads. I think it's probably morethe fact that I've only seen 2 others like mine here in Adelaide and the usual Ford and Holden fans still can't believe that a Toyota has a V8 in it.
