has anyone done the 99 to 97 trunk conversion on an infinity?

yeah I'm tyring to do the conversion and I'm running in to wireing problems the trunk won't pop from in side the car I have to use the key now and my drivers side trunk light won't stay on (like when you turn the lights on it is supposed to stay on ) but the brake and reverse light do work and it is only on the trunk side  the light on the body works fine so if anyone has any knowledge of what to do it would be a great help.

Test to see if that light socket's gettin power/ground
If not, check your wiring.
Same thing with the popper. Check power at that when the switch is pulled. May need a homie for that one.
Or come to my place, we'll slam that out quick

Hey C atleast we got your antenna to work!!LOL! dont worry thurday we will get it done!!just got to find my tester. still checking the FSM also for the wiring diagram.

If things don't work out that way, just jump wires from the passenger side of the trunk over to the drivers side. Both those inner lights work the same way at the same time, parking, stop, and reverse lights.
