2002 Q45

got a random question about an item in the engine bay....

what is the yellow circle shaped thing in the bottom left corner?

windshield washer fluid cap... not  very important

there is nothing there in the second picture. does that mean car #2 does not have a windshield washer fluid reservoir?

I had mine removed.  Its not important

its your flux capacitor to travel back to the future...  ^ nah not important. lol

has this car been in a frontal collision?   Maybe after the repairs they didn't replace the reservoir.   In the second pic I think you should still be able to see the top of the white plastic spout which that yellow cap snaps on.   It snaps and not a twist.   The yellow cap is tethered to that plastic shroud thingy and usually can't lose it.   The white plastic box on the right with the small yellow twist cap is the coolant reservoir/overflow tank.

i just came into possession of the car, and it looks like it has been in a frontal collision. there is no tank there, thats why i thought it was weird. even weirder is that i tested the windshield washers and they still worked :shrug:

You are in luck today.... I bought new wheel well front liner and as I was changing them...

great thanks for the pics! i have the reservoir there, just need the funnel to actually fill it. at first i just thought the tank fit in that little hole, didnt know it was all the way down there. now i just gotta ghetto rig a funnel :laugh:

That filler neck part is 21.69 and the cap is 1.something
