New Guy in CA soon.

Hey everyone, I've been reading around on the forums for a few months never really decided to post since I don't have a car, and really don't have much knowledge on VIP to contribute anything.  Anyways, I'm a Marine currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan (been here 22 months) and I'll be leaving here Friday the 26th to go home on leave then I'll be stationing Camp Pendleton, so I'm sure I'll get the chance to meet a lot of you. I'm in the market for a decent platform car to start working on as soon as I get to CA mid April so please let me know if you have a car for sale around that time, I'm already looking into solars SC and RASRX7's President which I'm leaning most on, damn will make for one sexy build if everything goes rite. Yeah, acually I hope he contacts me soon and lets me know. I picked up Aprils edition of VIP Style magazine at Lawsons the other day and there is a beautiful president featured in the mag. I'll try to upload pics of the page.

A President gets my vote, I wish someone around me would import one so I could take a look up close haha.

Sounds good augdogg im looking forward to meeting many new people in CA. it's hard to talk to the japanese guys that have nice rides out here, i've only met 2 that spoke english and I could actually talk to.

@bwilkins- it would be much easier for you to import a presidend to canada than it is to get them into the US isn't it? regulations are easier.

Oh yea, the rules here are 15 years or older. Then you can bring in pretty much whatever you want. Thats how I've got my Skyline here haha. The Americans have to wait 25 years or get someone to bring them in through some kind of a loop-hole. 
 
Unfortunately there really isnt much of a VIP scene around here and even less people import VIP plateform JDM vehicles, especially something like the President.

So what the heck is stopping you from making the dopest whip around and hyping up the scene a little bit over there? There aren't many vip cars here in okinawa either but the few i've seen were done up damn well. the thing that gets me in japan is the camber, i've seen some people riding on about 4 inches of rubber if not less...
