KA9 Vanity Tag Opinions?

We're allowed 8 characters, here is what I've come up with, with the intention of being funny at least, definitely not too serious:

JAP-SLED -My first choice
JAP SLED
RICESLED -My second choice, it would be my first choice if I could put a space between rice and sled.
RICE-VIP

Your opinion, on my choices or your own suggestions, is appreciated.

For anyone interested the car is an '04 Nighthawk Black Pearl over Ebony, currently sporting a Garson Glitter knob, DAD glitter emblem, and DAD glitter ignition ring...and other MISC goodies.  I have JIC Magic FLTA2VIP coilovers, uninstalled, as I haven't chosen wheels yet...and lowered on factory looks silly IMO...but that is coming soon.

i would put those coilovers on and get some wheels before a vanity plate. Imo some ppl may fret over the use of "jap"

1. Let me put it this way it's degrading, no matter how you slice it pure and simple.
2.  Rice and VIP don't go hand and hand.

I know rice and VIP don't go hand in hand, but the car isn't VIP platform, it's a wannabe, which makes RICE funny, yet pertinent.  I'm trying not to be too serious about it.

I hadn't really thought about JAP-SLED being disrespectful or offensive.  I do have some Japanese friends that I will consult, but I think largely the world is too sensitive about things like that, but perhaps I'm not sensitive enough.  I'll post back with my personal findings.

The vote is in.  Japanese males that I know in the 20-33 age range didn't see anything wrong with it, in fact I got positive feedback, go figure.

I am curious, those of you that cried foul...are you of Japanese heritage?

Just to clarify is has nothing to do with foul play, It has to do with respect. I'm not saying you don't respect them I'm just saying I wouldn't do it out of respect for people in General. But, that's just me. :biggthumpup:

that offends people it may not your friends, but im sure there is someone that doesnt like that word.  My suggestion is to just be respectful, and choose something else.

Best of both worlds...since HIRU18 would probably get me arrested.
