F the police

So me and my friend were leaving a party tonight. The party got rolled and there's 100+ people leavingi, the neighborhood is packed with cars coming out. There's atleast 10+ squad cars, and a dui check point on the corner. An officer [U]walks[/U] up to my car while im waiting to pull out of the neighborhood. He tells me to give him my license, so i grab my wallet which slightly moves my foot off of the brakes, in doing so my car barely moves up. Right at that point, the officer CHOKES me, full on grip , head to the back of my seat and then as he's choking me, he tells me to put the car into park. 

I put my car into park, i give him my license, he says be at the police station within an hour and i'm getting a ticket. I ask him where is the police station and he gives me a smart ass answer of "go google it". He doesn't tell me why i'm getting a ticket and leaves all quickly with my drivers license, i barely got a glance at his badge or his face.

I go to the police station, tell the officer my situation, they had to call dispatch to get find the officer who took my license, i talk to one of the sergeants and he said that the officer said that i was going to get a citation for loud music, but the sergeant removed that citation. He said that the officer claimed that my car was moving and was afraid that i was going to run him over or flee away. And he said that he put his hand on my chest.

That's where stupidness comes in. I can't go anywhere, cause in the neighbor it's jammed pack with cars, theres a truck in front of me, i can't run him over cause he's on the side. And he did not put his hand on my chest.

So he also said that officers have a audio recording device, and they are going to burn a cd and i have to come within the week to hear it over with him and from their i can file a complaint, which i am going to do. 

I honestly feel that the officer over stepped his powers... to choke me? That's completely crossing the line. And guys like him makes cops look bad, nuff said.

Yeah. I've been pulled over twice in the last two weeks for no apparent reason. "just to make sure I have nothing illegal".  But yours is a little over board. That's some shady shit

In situations like this make sure to follow thru ur complant.  I'm not sure of the process in Cali but lodge a complaint with Internal afrairs, have them investigate the issue, get the officers name and info and anyone else that u've spoken to. Don't sleep on issues like these.  Cops in NYC are just as bad and if they go unchecked their action will escalate with the progression of their careers.  Good luck and it always infuriates me when people who are supposed to be protecting us are doing the opposite.  Be strong and sorry to hear you had to go through something like this.

Sorry to hear...unfortunately I've come to expect that kind of behavior from them.

you should report to CNN or some TV channel after you get the CD,  i got pull over before in van, because i'm a asian kid drive a lexus IS , start to think the reason ppl want to become a cops, because they want to beat up random ppl legally

damn dude that sux.. I had a run in with some rookie cop down here about 6 months ago, his reason for pulling me over was.. in exact words: "I'm pulling you over today, cause I didn't have time to pull you over yesterday."  And the reason behind even thinking about it was the tine was too dark, and my car needed a reconstruction permit.  Long story short, I went to court and got out of all the charges... But anywho, sorry you had to go through that, some cops now days I don't know... fail!

That's some BS!!! Most cops these days are so tired of dealing with people that they get all worked up on wanting to F*** everyone up even if your not doing anything wrong.

So I get pulled over this morning. I had just left the crib and was on the way to get some gas before headed to work. So the station is literally right down the street. I'm at the stop light and I see a state tropper roll up on me and light me up. So light turns green and I pull into the gas station.

Pig walks up and says license, registration, and proof of insurance. I had it over and ask did I do something wrong officer. He says hold tight chief and walks back to his car. Comes back about a minute later and asks what kind of car is this (Car is completely debadged) so I say Infiniti M45 and he looks at me weird so I say it has the model information on the insurance card and registration so he walks back to his car. I'm waiting 15 minutes and he gets out his car and is walking around my ride looking at everything. I know my tint is straight so I'm like WTF. He bends down and checks out the exhaust and keeps walking around. He pauses for a second and goes Oh you dont have your front plate on and writes me a $60 ticket. So he hands me a ticket and I ask why did you pull me over and he says have a nice day and rolls out. Wastes a good 20+ minutes of my time looking for something, what an asshole.
