#311610Neuton tyre stretch?
Hey all,Drove over a smashed bottle on the freeway home last night and killed one of my front tyres. the other side is pretty worn and now has nothing to flip with so im going to get a new pair.
ive been tossing up downsizing on my 19x9s from 235/35 to 225/35 so i can run some spacers up front as my current tyres are quite fat and rub even now when i have like an inch of clearance!
the thing is i dont have big bucks to spend at the moment and the shop i use only really has Achilles, Neuton and Nexen as 'cheap' brands.
Nexen dont do a 225/35 :(
The Achilles im not sure of, but the Neuton im tempted to give it a go? what do you guys think?
Im going away on a trip in a few month so dont have too much to spend. the Nexens are $255AU each, the Neuton are $220AU so a little cheaper, but if they die on me in a few months ill be pretty angry! Maybe i should be conservative for now and resell the 235s after my trip?
oh im on 19s, around -3 camber, 18k front springs...
