Going to Hawaii in August!

Me and the fam. is going to be out in Hawaii late August for the SPOCOM show but plan to be out there for a week or so.   Just wanted to see where is there to go and places we should look out for.
I havent been to hawaii In years so this will be a good trip out there.  Please list things to do or places to go.

We ill be in Honolulu August 24th or 25th to the 31st.

hit up kahuku orginal shrimp truck...and make sure you grab 2 plates...and on the way back get some matsumoto shave ice...i like the 3 cremes with ice cream on the bottom...

I've been out of the scene for quite some time now..........about a week ago shawnthemonster came into town and did a little Giovannis Kahuku Shrimp, Matsumoto's, Dole Plantation, Circle Island Tour, Tantalus, Dolphins at The Kahala, ate at Ono's, Sushi King, Family Fair at Alas, etc.  First time I met Shawn, his GF and local friend Mike.  

Would be good to meet up and do a little get together.  You should hit up Team Revision if you want a lot of rides to come out for a cruise/get together.  He's well in the scene and he knows the peeps into the Vip Styling.  Maybe we can do another Circle Island Tour for you and the Fam.  

Just post up again as a reminder when the date comes closer..........me and my Senior moments.  LOL

Im sure all the pretty cars will be at spocom.. maybe sunday sence the show is just one day. We can set up a cruise for sunday. I know the Scions are always drying to cruze around the island.

Shaved Ice, Right near Waikiki Waiola shave ice or in town Shimizus or you can go wait in the supper long lines at matsumotos in which i think is over rated. Aokis is right next door and just as good or even better with no line.

[B]Other things to do with the family[/B] 
Polynessian Cultural center. Luau and there a good show that many talk about called "HA" Its on the other side of the island so might be best you just take the tour bus there becuase youll end up comming back late and if your drinking its more safe to just releax and enjoy the ride back
 
Hanauma Bay. You can snorkle and see tons of fishes!
 
Hike up Diamond head.. its a not that bad hike and the view is awsome up there!
 
Sandy beach.. if you like body boarding 
 
Makapuu point. Long hike but again the veiws are awsome when you get to the top. 
 
Pali Look out.. nice veiws of the windward side and will Blow you Away!!
 
Stand up Paddle boarding is huge in Hawaii. IF you can try that you should. 
 
Aloha Stadiuam Swap meet.. get all your cheap gifts for freinds and family there. Waikiki is over priced. 
 
Ala Moana Center shopping and lots of places to eat. 
 
Check out China TOwn get some Manapuas and pork Hash" like Dimsum" @ char hun Sut.. 
 
Shore Fishing.. Let me know.. I aways take my son. 
 
short trip to neigbor islands. Go hilo and take a drive to see the volcanoe. or fly to maui get some Guri Guri ice cream and drive up to Haleakala.. usally you go upthere before the sun raises to watch it raise. 
 
Many tourist like to check out the shark tours.. I dont knwo why? 
 
hit the north shore.. i think during that time Waimea Bay is pretty calm. you can just hang out and relax and swim and jump off the big rock there. beaches on that sideo f the island are way more relaxing than the ones in town. 
 
Hike up to waimea falls. 
 
Dole Planataion.

CoCo curryhouse... I lived on this stuff in Japan now its all over HI... Chicken cutlet curry level 7 or 10 if you crazy. Trust me this sh!t is bomb...
