2004 SL55 AMG looking for a very aggressive fitment 19s or 20s

Hey Guys/Gals,

My name is Kamil, I'm new here on this forum, so wanna say hello to everyone. I currently own a 2004 MB SL55 AMG, and I'm looking to go very aggressive unlike most guys that own these cars and do not want to push it's limits when it comes down to wheels. I already have lowering links on the car to lower it just a bit or drop it really low if I want. I'm however a NB when it comes to offsets and all the sizing stuff on wheels when it comes to this or any other car. I want to do a nice strech along with a slight wheel poke. Any help would be great so I can start looking around.

I like these but dont know if they will work on my car. My MB is equipped with the BBK from AMG.

Welcome to VSC. Not too sure, I mean anything CAN be done, just depends. Might be worth checking out SL threads on MB forums MBworld Benzworld and mymbonline. I always liked the way the Lowen LSR looks on the SL...link will take you to his other ride^^^

20x9 +10 (normally 30)
20x11 +15 (normally 35)

those should be good offsets.

Can I make the wheels I posted below work? What do you think?

I already got in contact with those guys and got the fitments but they want $7,000 for wheels alone plus shipping from europe which is super expensive.

these cars are like 35-50k now..

if you wanna spend 7k.. go for it. but personally i would get some aggressive lowenharts in normal sizes (x9 +25-30, x11 +28-38) for the sl/cls and add spacers as needed.

you gotta check out MEC Design, http://www.mecdesign.de/new/en/gallery/gallery_r230.php
All their whips are fresh, they definitely know how to build Mercedes.

well if you already got sizes and offsets, you're more than halfway done!

This is what I can do,

10.5 x 20 (21) 12mm spacer
11.75 x 20 (18) 7mm spacer

This will give me the same stance as the INDEN (white mercedes in the picture)

I was however thinking about maybe doing a 19 inch wheel to get the car a bit closer to the ground.
