wheel studs

can you use wheel studs with any wheel.... i like these but it says their made for honda's? is that just a marketing gimmick?

Most likely wont work. The differences between cars are the thread pitch and diameter of the bolt (thats fine since you will probably get a full set including wheel nuts), but also the back splined section. I bought some extended bolts for my car, and it was even for a Nissan, but for "new nissan" which meant newer than 1998, and they wouldnt fit in my hubs

I wouldn't be so concerned as much about the tread pitch as much as the base of the stuff.

All Toyota cars, minivans are a 12x1.5 thread pitch. meaning the stud is 12mm thick and each thread is 1.5mm apart. The only Exception is the LS460/600h which changed toa 5x120 bolt pattern and a 14x1.5 thread pitch.

But unless they are made specifically for your car I dont think they're going to work.

wheel studs have different knurl sizes. if you get the one not for your car, it wont even fit in the hub
