Main thing is don't rock them as something they're not. You get what you paid for. Cheap quality 99% of the time. Although there are some replicas & knockoffs which are decent. Note: I am not saying to support them. =p

It is funny you say that, about Rota. My friend just put his gtr in a ditch, for sake of law reasons, speed is not going to be noted. But had Rota 18in P45r's and not a single one is bent, or cracked. The tow truck driver had to yank on one to pull the car out, since it was sunken in on the back side. So now when i look at rota's i am like how did these people crack theirs when he did this to them. and his car's front end is bent up 10inches.

When it comes down to it, knockoffs come in weak generic sizing (like 1-2 widths and 1-2 offsets available). The finish sucks and they just look cheap. It will just make the real deal look better when you park the car with the knockoff next to the real thing.

There are minor differences in just about all the wheels you listed and the prices usually are in the same range. They also come in custom sizes. I'm refering to exact replicas that have fake rivets and are sold for like 1/4th of the price of the real deal

That didn't suprise me at all. Cool things are going to get copied sooner or later and sold for less even tho it's not made as good. That's just how things go!! It's sucks but like everyone knows, you get what you paid for!!

well my 2 cents... i feel like most wheel companies good and bad have to some degree copied either another manufacturers or oem design. but either way dont support the total knockoffs and support a legit wheel company.

Like advans or volks wheels, race proven wheels hard to break or bend.
Same with work wheels.
other info: when you daily your wheels they might bend a lil bit in conpared to racing them. Again ill use volk as an example: for say TE37's forged wheel, at the track they are straight G last dont bend and crack because they are made for high speed, Take them on the street daily them for a few month (depending how you drive) they will end up crackd,bend w.e.
just sucks how some companys claim its the original wheel when they are selling the knock off material....

"fake" ordens popped up a couple years ago (search) but it was decided it was more likely they were being supplied through super star and just being sold under a different name. iirc they were selling higher than leons.
