i picked up the car last feb. from Indianapolis. i wanted a touring edition badly and the only ones i found at the time were this one, and one in cali. so, i flew out there and drove it back home. here's your chance to get a nice luxury ride for a fraction of what i had to pay.

the good:
interior: all leather in excellent shape (no tears, cracks, ect.)
             bose premium sound still works like a champ
             no fade from sun or cracks on dash
             carpet, and floor mats look brand new still
             ac, heat, defrost all work great
exterior: slight drop using insurance group springs
             stock spoiler
             no big dents, dings, or scratches
engine: untouched (can pass emissions)
the bad: windshield has crack
             abs sensor is bad (still stops perfectly fine)
             starter has a couple of notches missing causing it to make a funky sound when starting occassionally (if it does this, just pull the key out and put it back in, and it will start right up)

6500 is a good price. bone stock minus the insurance springs. if you were to fly down here like i had to to get it up there, i may could do something.

I know this might be a lil off topic because it has nothing to do with cars, but I may be relocating to Lubbock, Texas for my job and I was wondering how bad scorpians and fire ants really are.  Everyone I talk to in ohio says they are bad, but they have never been to Texas.  I also googled it and read some stuff that they arn't bad but I wanted to make sure.  So I wanted to ask someone who actually lives there.  Any help on the subject would be much appreciated.

i've lived in texas all my life (27) and the only scorpions i've ever seen were at pet stores. there are however, plenty of fire ants. they cause more of an itch than a sting. the only way they're really going to get you is if you stand in a hill for a few seconds. what other creatures have you been warned about?

Black widow spiders which we have in ohio, and nothing else really,  What is should I be worried about?

i'd worry less about black widows and more about brown recluse spiders.

it's such a pity that the market for these cars isn't where it should be.  I've owned multiple bmws, benz, lexus, etc

my only complaint about the Y33 is the anemic motor. other than that, these cars are fantastic.

Hold out for the right buyer. and ignore the lowballers...

I paid 5k for my 97 and had to go out of state to get it. It was Blk on Blk but still for a 99 in that condition  5k is reaaallly good.
