Wow sorry to see that happen to you James, I hope that the insurance company comes thru for you.  They always happy to take our money but their assholes pucker up tighter than a ducks underwater when they gotta pay some out.

And yea, my insurance was debating on charging me a $1K deductable VS a $500. $1K if she thought it was collision, $500 for non-collision....I guess I lucked out cause mine was 500.
 
Makes you really appreciate your car once you get it back though....

werd, you know I have to say that it sucks but with the Kazz grill If I left in in there and didnt take it out it would have been warped for life ... I was able to get it straighten out as much as possible .. but I know you guys feel me ...  everyone here puts in as much time in their cars as me so its life and I was able to share with ya 


I do have hate towards trucks with the damn tow package thou ... bastereds

I hope the insurance finds the tape where they recoreded and I would have said sure lemme get the 1000.00 deductible ... I would always have done the 500.00 one like I have ... and to top things I was going to change over to Allstate on the first ...

Man people got no respect for other peoples sh!t. You would think, outta courtesy they'd leave ya a note or somethin ownin up to their bad. Especially when its obvious the owner cares for and takes pride in the work they've done to their car. I mean, maybe I can understand some beat down, junked up ass hooptie and if ya nudge it, then they might not even notice it, but c'mon vipdout, you just don't do that to a ride like this. Maybe its cause they're too intimidated of seeing somethin parked so hard and figure it'd cost millions of $$$ to fix compared to the hooptie only being a couple bucks and change, IDK whatever it is, those people piss me off and I hope karma catches up to them and returns the favor. People got no respect for other peoples sh!t.

Hell atleast it wasn't your wife. I have a decent scrape and paint missing from the pres bumper b/c wifey likes the poles at her job.

Damn dude, sorry to hear. Been there, came out to my ride w/ the 1 week old aero just sitting attached by one point, half of the front bumper just resting on the floor. Hope it all works out for you. Talk about adding insult to injury with the whole insurance drama. Hang in there.

Well Thanks for posting fellas, it sucks for the insurance thing. I know what you mean Pancakes, My comp. was at 150. and they chose the 1000 one.  crap but I just cancelled my policy with Geico and signed up with Allstate but what they told me was if I was able to still reopen the case and Geico has to take care of it. because It happened before I cancelled my plan. 
 
I can go to a shop that offers waiving the deductible and can take care of it and if over 1000.00 :shrug: then geico has to pay.  hmmmmmm We will see when I take my car to this one shop that charges grip and I hope they can give me an amazing quote and maybe new paint and hood and grill .... that would help alot.  
 
I know it wont get done before May 1st but damn Spocom sent email out that I could have been a boothcar for 2 companies. ... this is bullsheet no matter how I look at it but I will keep on trucking.

wow that vey high hit ...check around it seems like a pickup truck backed into it .. and if the parking underground parking check the exit camera you might find that AN SUV or PICK up did the damage ...

No cameras , I work in an insotre bank so No cameras on safeway parking lot ;/

"Thanks Everyone , Well the bad news , I closed my insurance with Geico , and closed the case, Switched over to Allstate and understand that even though I closed my case I can still go to a body shop and have them reopen the case and Not have to pay them for crappy service. This is what gets me, I had a deductible of 150 for compre. and 1000. for collision.. and they chose the coll. (middle finger) to Geico and the gecko

And they show the policy was changed the date I sold my bmw ... I asked for proof showing that I changed the policy over the phone because I dont ever remember asking about wanting to pay 1000. deductible in case something happens. and they can provide that at all .... sales person who wanted commision over the phone.

So with that said they cant prove I asked for that crazy deductible or can show me that I signed anything but Not willing to budge. Now from how it sounds if this was someone hating on the car then its compr. like vadilism thats the 150 deductible... how dumb is that now that I know that ... ;/ 

No Cameras in the lot at all ... I work at an Instore Us Bank inside of a Safeway with all kind of wierd hrs and the parking lot has No cameras to show me anything. 

I think all in all It is my best bet to at least get a quote to see what happens... but I might be coming out of pocket though. At least I can get a rental free for the time the front bumper and new hood and grill gets put back and repainted superblack.

Man, eff Geico, I've heard such bad things from them.  Also, eff the a-hole who hit your car.  So many shady people in this world dude.  I am glad you're getting back on track and moving on though, makes me so sad to see stuff like that happens to ppl's rides on here.
